Lily

Lily heard there were other monsters, and creatures. Of the Living, and the undead living in a castle far away from her glade. She had tried to talk her family into going in to hiding after a fellow Glade was found out, but they didn't want to hear her out saying she was too young. She glared at ruins of the castle in front of her "It was there lost, and now I have no one."

Lily glowed dark blue with anger, and headed into the ruins in hopes that they'll allow her to stay. She let her wings melt into her skin, While she grew to her human size of five feet. She pulled some of her short blue hair behind her ears, and let her blue eyes scan the area. "Hello? Is anyone here?"

Lily made her way into what looked like an old sitting room, and sat down in one of the chairs. Her feet didn't hurt becasue she flew the whole way, but it was nice to sit for once. Long trips always made her a little tired.

Lily

Lily smiled at seeing candles coming to life around her. She heard another being, and turned to them with a smile. "Yes I have a way at protecting myself even though I find it somewhat inhumane at times." She blushed "I'm more of a healer, and one of the last of my kind." She curtsied slightly "Thank you for letting me stay here sir."

She stood back up straight, and noticed the lord is a vampire. "Well I'm no use for you I guess... If what I heard is true your powers heal yourself faster then I could." Her blue eyes tried to keep from laughing at herself.

Lily

Lily laughed slightly "Well that's good to hear I guess, but don't you need to drink?" She tugged at a piece of her hair that fell in front of her face. "Well I guess there's the woods or blood from what animal they cook for dinner for us non vampires." She looks lost in her thoughts, but shook her head. "I'm sorry for talking too much." She blushed.

The woods were eerily silent. Gabriel paced slowly underneath the canopy of the hickory trees above.

"Great God! I hate these woods at night." he began while walking onwards towards the Castle. "And a spooky castle doesn't make the situation better." he said while spotting the shimmering castle in the distance. "Oh bother." he said while walking down the road towards the castle.

~As Gabriel was walking toward the castle wolves of every shaoe and size started watching him from the cover of low trees and bushes~

Lily

Lily nodded "I guess that would do." She smiled "I'm going to head to bed. I've come a long way from home." She hugged the Vampire, and turned to make her way to the barracks. "Good Night Sir" She called over her shoulder.

Gabriel gazed up at the hills. They seemed literally, alive, as if they were watching him. Gathering water from the surrounding air, he pulled together a thin razor-like piece of ice. Throwing it with deadly precision between the trees, he heard a moan and the thud of a body. The other wolves broke their formation, and for a moment, Gabriel was terrified. Opening a small water skin at his side, he pulled the water into a whip like device and began lashing the wolves.

He stopped, however, because the wolves had surrounded him, and he began to feel desperate. The whip-like device had done to little to help him, and had wasted some time. Pulling his hair back, and glancing at the moon, he gathered his strength and plunged his hands into the earth. A massive circular chasm appeared pulling the wolves into it. He began to run now, towards the castle, while drawing water out of the air and creating an ice shield.

Gabriel kept running. The moon slowly made its course to the edge of the world, and for a split second, both moon and sun were in the sky together. The moment was gone, and the sun came spilling over the hills, pouring sunlight into all of the dark crevices, and making the fog vanish. The chill of night was replaced with the warm glow of the sun, and Gabriel's heart was greatly strengthened.

He steadily approached the castle, it's dark stones radiating with a dark energy. The castle was antediluvian, great spires climbed into the air, threatening the clouds; ivy clung to the black stone creating an eerie ambiance. The silence that surrounded the castle was deafening, and up, high into it's age old bowers, gargoyles skirted the edge of the crenelations. Gabriel sighed, such craftsmanship was rarely seen in these times, and in the brief timespan he had to take it in, he was thoroughly impressed.

Gabriel began walking again, and after coming to the entrance of the castle he noticed something, there was no draw bridge. Seeing as this might be slightly problematic if he needed to quickly escape, Gabriel plunged his hands into the ground around him, and using his elemental magic, pulled the earth up from below the water in the moat, and created a bridge.

After dusting his hands off, Gabriel proceeded onwards: Through the courtyard with the broken statues and fountains, down the sloping path in the wildly overgrown garden, upwards into the armory and forge, across the area designated as the market place, through ancient temples dedicated to long forgotten gods, and finally towards the great gilded double doors of the royal hall. Gabriel breathed in a deep breath and pulled them open, a blast of cold air hit his face, and inside, surrounded by the soft flicker of candles, he saw what he thought to be a man and a faerie.

Looking directly at what he took to be the man, Gabriel inhaled deeply and said in a deep, loud, and commanding voice, "I am here to defeat you and return the castle to its former glory; to restore it as a gem to my people, and make it a bridge between all races, nations, and customs. The way it was meant to be when it was built." He prepared himself to fight.

"Ha Ha Ha." The lord laughed with great delight>"Foolish human you dont know anything of this Castle's past do you?Tell me why do you think it was made to hold humans and other races that live in the dark as do I?"The lord had asked of the human who had walked into his castle.
