3nodding There are just some housekeeping issues that must be taken care of before you start posting. The following are just a few important rules to keep in mind:
arrow Do I have to follow the Gaia ToS when posting in this guild?Yes, of course you do. What a silly question.
arrow Can I be a mod?Nope, we've got all the moderators we need right now... and don't ask me again.
arrow Are off-topic threads allowed?Sure, why not? Just don't let them get out of hand. I don't want to see the entire first page full of off-topic threads and I don't want to see any bump threads. That is what the Chatterbox is for.
arrow What's the policy on spoilers?According to Dictionary.com a spoiler is "A remark which reveals important plot elements from books or movies, thus denying the reader (of the article) the proper suspense when reading the book or watching the movie." This applies to TV shows as well.
Spoilers are allowed, but must be contained in a thread where the titled blatantly reveals that there are spoilers contained in the thread. For example, an appropriate thread title would be "Syd and Vaughn-SPOILER!" If you absolutely must post in a thread where the title does not announce the presence of spoilers, the spoiler must be written in WHITE text.
Finally, there are people in this guild who are from outside the U.S. In other words, they may not be on the same season of Alias that those of us that live in the U.S. are. If you want to make a thread that discusses a particular episode, be sure that your thread title announces the episode so that people will know not to enter if they have not seen that particular episode.
arrow Do I have to be nice to my fellow guild members?Excessive flaming will not be tolerated. If I think any guild member has stepped out of line in an argument, disciplinary action will be taken.
arrow Captain Horsey, why are you so strict?Because being in a position of power makes me go crazy. Any other questions?
