A K A T S U K I
The Akatsuki kanji means daybreak, breaking down the word itself gives us "aka" meaning red (a common color in the group) and "tsuki" meaning moon. This Organization is a collection of S-Ranked criminals.
The base of operations is located at the heart of a large strip of land located southwest of the Earth Country. This portion of land is elevated several hundred feet above sea level, which gives a perfect view of the land of the surrounding countries. There is a cave at the dead center of this elevated land. There is an ominous gray mist which always lingers about the area. For this reason, the cave is quite moist. Within the cave there are several large tunnels which branch out from this center. Towards the left is the Chamber of Sealing which houses the King of Hell Statue. His mouth his bound and his hands are cuffed. It is upon this that each Akatsuki member stands upon the statues fingers, corresponding with the rings they posses, to commence the extraction ceremony. There is also a tunnel which leads to the right. This area is a place for the akatsuki to rest and plan their next movements.
