Did you guys hear? Reelz channel reported that the seventh HP book, Deathly Hallows, will be released as 2 full-length feature films!

This is news to me! I like the fact that they are going to show a lot of the things that happen in the book; but sad that we will have to wait probably a full year to see the ending.

Well, I heard that Half Blood Prince would be released in November '08, but both Deathly Hallows are- until further notice- to be released in 2010.
This could change, however. After all, the screenwriter is American, so I assume he's a member of the WGA, who are on strike. This might delay the production of Deathly Hallows pts. 1 and 2.
Oh, well. If Harry Potter fans are anything, we're patient! heart

Well, they are thinking about it. They might and they might not. I hope they do though, DH is something that deserves more time than one movie. (I can't help but feel impatient though, I really want to see Molly in action, LOL.)

Well, Reelz Channel seemed to think it was a sure thing, but I heard E! News, or someone like that, say it was a "maybe." I don't know... I hope so!
P.S. Not entirely related, but..
The WGA Strike ended today! Yay! I can work again!
(I promise to still spend some of my free time on Gaia with you guys wink )

It's official! They're splitting it for sure now. They were saying that they could remove a lot of the subplots for the other movies, but that you just can't do that with book 7! Hooray! Now the only thing that's really going to bug me is suspense, lol. (The wait between part 1 and part 2.)

You got to be kidding!!!! surprised eek confused Don't you think we wait long enough for the movie to come out? Now, we have to wait another year or two for part two to come out and you are exploding with joy!!! confused Am I missing something here? scream confused Sure, two movies would allow them to go into greater details; but, why can't they make a longer movie ? They won't be the first to have a 3 1/2 hour movie, other have done it. I am sure no one would mind sitting through a longer movie, would you?
