Okay...since there is a pet peeves thread, I thought I had better even it out and make a counterpart for it!
Venting is an important part of our day--helps you unload, clear the air, get things off of your chest, and...whatever other cliche' there is to go with it! blaugh
But....what really turns the tide of our day, and sometimes life itself, is looking at all the good we have in our lives. It doesn't have to be anything big, and sometimes even the smallest things can bring a smile to our face, and warm our heart--and give hope.
This is the place to express gratitude! heart

I am thankful for....heat. As a child, and well, my whole adult life, I have frozen my tushie (and fingers) off all winter long. I now have a heater that heats the WHOLE house. Wow. Everytime I hear it come on, I think, what a luxury this is, and I am sooooooo thankful! whee

Ooo, this thread is a good idea... I've tried documenting what I'm thankful for daily, and it really helps. mrgreen
I'm grateful for... getting oculus magica today. And that thing called heat that retro's talking about. lol

I am thankful that my mother is still here after 5 years of Dr's telling us she is going to die smile ... and that my sister lets me not work and live in her house so i can take care of my mom smile i love my sister ... she is my best friend smile

Im thankful for the wonderful friends I've made since I've joined Gaia
Im also thankful for my son, the other day while I wasnt feeling so good he asked me if he could make me some "I love you and get better" soup LOL

I am so thankful for all my wonderful friends here in the guild for their support with my hubby's illness as well as with my daisy quest - less than 100,000 to go!
I'm also thankful that I have reconciled with most of my family this past fall - we hadn't talked for a number of years (some longer than others) and life is just to darn short to spend that way.

Angel, that is awesome! I saw your signature, and you have less than 70000 to go! Keep at it, I can't wait to see you reach your goal. That's great about your family also, life really is what you make it! biggrin I only wish some things weren't unreconcileable sad (LOL, is that a word?)

Yay! I still have some food on hand that my bunny will eat! Dumb thing probably to be glad about, but it makes me happy! biggrin
And...on a bigger scale, my son has 7 weddings lined out so far this year!!! Woooo-hoooo!!!! 4laugh He is a photographer, and is trying to build up his business.

I'm thankful that I've got a job now..even if it is temp.
I'm also thankful that I've finally got a cell phone....and that my parents don't chew me out as much any more owo.
