So, I saw this on YouTube...it's a great adaptation. The Darcy in it, I thought wasn't that great-looking, to begin with, but he has a great attitude and a spectacular smile. It has great moments, like when Jane and Elizabeth go on an ice cream binge and Bingley selling CDs for dogs!

The DamnSasquatchsays: I have it. (I'm Captian-Han-Solo's sister) Anyway, I have mixed feelings about it.... I don't like how they made Jane. My favorite part is where Lizzy and Jane are laying on the couch eating ice cream for a week straight.
We're out of ice cream. OMGWTFBBQ <3

We're out of ice cream. OMGWTFBBQ <3 I agree completely with your comment on Jane. Her accent really bothered me and I just had a hard time believing Jane as an Argentine student. I can't quite decide if I like Lizzy Bennet or not...
Although he wasn't extremely cute I thought the Darcy did a pretty good job. Caroline was pretty much Caroline.
One thing I have to commend them on was their inclusion of church. When I heard that this movie was called "A Latter-Day Comedy" I internally cringed. However, they did not go completely overboard with religious references, which I was thankful for. I admit I giggled at Lizzy's fantasy of throwing the hymn book at Colins during Sacrament Meeting.

I just finished watching it...
While it was cute, I kinda don't like how they altered the story to make it a super perky happy ending for all. The characters were good, and the acting was good, but I don't know, it just fell short I guess. :/

Ugh, I felt a certain distaste for this version.
It's the 2003 movie, I think is the year?
It's funny many of the movies are treated through years, makes it sound as if they're wines.
But anyways I thought it was pretty cheesy, as if it was an attempt to draw in a younger crowd.

I thought it was cute enough for one view. There were enough laughs to keep me entertained while watching it but on any other scale it was one of those movies that you watch once maybe twice if you're having a sleep over and want something funny but that's it. The guy that played Darcy did have charm but the outline of the script was...how shall I put it....odd. The quote's from the book were a nice touch.

it was cute, but I have to say it didn't follow the book all that closely, but she did good at hating Darcy and I adore the ice cream scene.
