OK....the main point of this word game is to describe something in detail that will evoke memories and images. The more vivid it is, the better. First, someone starts off with a description of something. Then the next person posts a description of what the above description evokes, like senses, images, etc. Okay, then. I will start with a quote instead of some imagery because I have no imagination at the moment sweatdrop : "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." Now, what does that evoke? (If this is boring, PM me and I will get rid of this thread......... sweatdrop )

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
I struggle somewhere between interpretation and actual thought *laughs* it evokes a sense of being rather true, though try as we might to do the right thing, it may not be the right thing therefore leading us to being bad. Or something like that. Its a loose interpretation. Ill have to look up the actuall meaning of it. I dont hear that saying often enough. Everyone has good intentions, but that doesnt always make them right. i deal more with feeling on these matters so, I dont really have much else to go by and this could prove to be interesting so dont delete it *laughs and wavs, poofing for now*

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
i think that the road to hell is paved with good intentions for the person who travels it. and i don't mean good intentions in a good way. what i mean is that the person may have good intentions on certain things that they want to do, but the way that they choose to go about it is bad. the bad choices they make to get them to their goals will eventually lead them to hell. how is that? you like that, huh? it's my brilliance at work. biggrin

I have to agree with PrincessAmi pretty much. It means that bad deeds are often done with good intentions.

Eh? I meant that you have to read it and then call up the first memory it reminds you of and then describe it in detail, not tell me what it means...... ^.^;; Okay, read this example of imagery, see what it reminds you of, describe.
Sho sat back in the car seat, overlooking the stretch of bright blue sky above him, but only focusing on the backdrop of where his life drama was focused. His eyes travelled over the corrugated cardboard of the homeless and the hidden gold foil of certain buildings below the horizen where retired gangsters settled into the broad circle of abrupt birth and death. Fake paper money scattered the streets into dots of white, little bits of heaven that shadowed the pieces of hell that echoed with screams of people searching for their loved ones. Incense circled the city of Mallepa, its rich fumes reminescent of a hopeful past and belief in Saviors.

hmmm...... I noticed that no one (in the past) was quite interested in my imagery game. I wonder if any of you guys that are active participants are. So I'm writing this post to bump it up so all of you can see it. Thanks 3nodding

[The first few posts have inspired some additions. Perhaps we could make this a cooperative work. 3nodding ]
Mika sniffed at the air as the mixtures of the numerous scents of the marketplace with the various salespeople trying to hawk their wares, lingered as a cloud above the area. The young gregori woman hated the city but she had to track down the one known as 'Marko'. As a bountyhunter, it was her job to complete those tasks that she had been assigned, in spite of how much she might have disliked the employers. Now she sifted through the nearly overwhelming aromas to find the one that she was after. The smell of a mixture of ochre, cinnamon and rye merged with the young man's own sweat to create that scent that was the human male that she was determined to seek out amongst the backdrop of city. She placed a hand on a concealed sidearm as she weaved through the masses of people that pressed up againgst each other.

The musky scent in the air consumed her senses, the drug flying her up to a temporary euphoric heaven. Her eyes rolled up to the ceiling, the simple touch of her own finger against her neck making her release a cry of joy. The bitter taste of the drug lingered in the back of her mouth, the only link to reality's cruelity and a reminder that while this state of being would bring her joy, it would soon bring her to new depths, driving her into Hell slowly like a hammer wielded by a sadist. Her body leaned into the torn up coach with stains of fake love upon it, its material engulfing her despair. There was nothing she could do for now, only submit to the loitering Hag that haunted her future in her youthful guise.
