They were the miscreants of the school. Outcasts and loners, for the most part, who banded together for the safety of numbers. The hour long lunch was their hell, and they gamed through it to make it faster. Their call was tabletop gaming, Dungeons and Dragons, d20, the works. They were gamers, they had it in their blood. Though all were different in their ways, they were brought together by bonds they didn’t understand. Most had some distaste for humanity, jaded by the constant social torture their peers provided. Some, even so, played in these social arenas, but they were inexplicably detached from it. Jocks who preferred a pair of dice, preps who spent their free time painting miniatures. Though their shells were different, their hearts yearned for adventure that tapletop gaming only mimicked.
And so, they gamed. Little did they know, fate had large plans for this tightly knit group. Soon, they would all get the adventure they currently only played at. Soon, their game would become all too real, and they would discover that their differences, their shells, would be beautifully suited to this ugly twist of fate.
This roleplay is suited for six players. Please post here, and give me your character’s name at the top of your post. Any characters posted after the first six will be deleted. Please be literate, or close, and willing to work on it.

Blake Andrews “So, the half-orc swings his axe at you, growling menacingly…” Blake ducked his brown haired head behind the screen. Rolling his dice, he sighed. ‘Combat, combat, combat…’ he thought to himself. ‘They COULD have talked their way out before they killed his orc buddy…’ The school library was the best they could find for such a meeting, but for only an hour a day, there was not much they could do in a session. “…and misses.” Blake looked to the window a moment, seeing the snow outside. Normally, the winter was pleasant to him, the cold soothing his skin, but it drove some who would normally go to convenience marts or fast food joints for lunch to stay inside, making their game harder. “D’you all think we can call it early, folks? I’m tired.”

Marlene Teraf
Marly cheered softly as her character avoided the orc's swing. She knew it hadn't been her half-elf druid that had molested the orcs in the first place, but she was always willing to help clean up a mess, especially if it involved killing random monsters. Pausing, Marly turned to look at their DM as he said something to the group. "Tired? You haven't been going around our backs, D&Ding with other people, have you?" She chuckled, poking gently at her character piece. "Can we at least finish the battle? Please?? We need the XP and GP!"
