I have a feeling its a game ppl are either gonna LOVE or absolutely Hate. There aren't many, if any, quality MMOFPS out there. This is sort of a step into the unknown.
I'm with ya finances wise. If I have the extra $$$ I don't see why I wouldn't play twisted But that's if I have the money to spare
From what I hear, its not supposed to be released 'til Spring/Summer 2008. There may be hope for you Q xp

Looks interesting enough to give it a shot. Havent done a MMOFPS before, so it will be interesting to say the least.
Looks like release date is March 2008, according to www.huxleygame.com which is the time I'll be in the US, so I will for sure pick up a copy if I see it on the shelves.

PC Huxley Release Date
PC - Current release date is set for Q4 of 2008
Xbox 360 Huxley Release Date
Xbox 360 - The Xbox 360 version of Huxley is currently set to follow approximately 6 months after the PC version launch
