Alright, I''m not there yet but here is what I need to happen. Somehow I need Sirius to be pulling a prank on Bellatrix and have it ruin Regulus''s elventh birthday party that the family is currently hosting. He pretends not to care to spite his mother, and poor ickle Regulus is heart broken. It''s a very important scene as it sets the characterization for most of the story. I am, however, at a loss as to what Sirius can do. Any suggestions? Well, it could be something as elaborate as luring him into an abandoned house, only to be chased out by a hungry werewolf (although something tells me that idea''s been taken already), or.. I dunno.
I''m having a bit of a writer''s block myself over here ^^; You''re probably really frustrated right now, and I''m sorry.. I''ll try to think of something.
Um. What sort of character do you want Sirius to be? Is he going to be like he was towards Snape (a really cruel b*****d), or is he a bit mellower (like.. the twins >_>)? It all depends on that, if this scene really sets the stage for how he''s going to be for the rest of the story.
It would also probably play a role in Regulus'' ascension (descension?) to evil/The Dark Side..
Also, what are Sirius and Bella''s relationship towards each other? Does he absolutely hate her, or is it just like sibling rivalry..?
The prank would cause Bella to say something scathing about Regulus'' place in the family, maybe..
Oh.. sorry all those things are kind of random.. I always get a little scatter-brained when I''m brainstorming sweatdrop

I think I may have an idea, and it gets Andromeda in trouble too. Since, however, those questions are valid and I hadn't thought about them over much, I think I'll answer them mostly for my own sake. Sirius's Character- It alternates, just like it does in the books. He can be alternatly cruel and kind to his poor little brother. Sometimes he treats him like he loves him more than anything else in the world, and then two words later will treat him like the scum between his toes. I think that makes it worse than the way he treats Snape. At least Snape knew that Sirius always hated him. Regulus is so confused (I can relate. My mom is the same way). Playing a role in Regulus- Indirectly. It's kind of setting the stage for the things that will eventually push him over (though that's still many chapters away). Bella/Sirius Relationship- the truely loathe each other throughout the fic. Whenever they can they WILL hurt each other. Bella, however, is three years older than Sirius and that gives her a big upperhand.
