My dad put a Duel boot in and now when I boot it on windows I have no internet most of the time but there are times when I can get on the internet using Firefox. On Linux everything is fine and the internet works great. My dad said it has nothing to do with Linux being on there but I think he is wrong. Even when th internet lets me get on Firefox any online games like MOH or RtCW will not connect. We have High Speed Internet. Umm well thank you in advance.

Linux has nothing to do with your internet connection under windows. The only time Linux touches your windows partition (with out a user with the correct permissions telling it to) is to shrink it during the installation for a duel boot, and to mount the windows partition so you can access for files from Linux, even then nothing destructive takes place it just reads fstab and sees that a NTFS or FAT filesystem needs to be mounted is a certain location and mounts it there. I would double check your connection settings under windows and maybe even check to see if your games are allowed through any firewall(s) you may have set up.

Vendion said it almost all. First yea Linux have no effect on windows not connecting biggrin , and Linux normally doesn't touch windows partition except in suse distro where it can shrink partition of windows if you need that. But I think you need to double check the settings in windows connection and look if you have some Firewall in windows that is blocking your connection. If you cant find the problem try asking your dad to help you biggrin

Ohh man my Dad was right dont that suck xp . Yea he isnt very good with computers he had to have his friend come over and teach him how to put the partition in. But he keeps changing the linux he uses Maybe he messed it up during that? I have tried messing around with the internet setings and tried disabling the firewall but still I get nothing. Maybe my Windows needs a update or somehing idk im not much better then my dad emo . Well thanks for your help.

Sorry we were not able to help you.
@GodFly: in order to duel boot every distro will shrink down the partition of any pre-installed OS (aka Windows, Mac, etc) its not just SuSE. The only way to not have it shrink the partition is to do it yourself ahead of time or tell the Linux distro to use the whole disk.

I appreciate your help guys. I think I will just download Wine and get rid of windows altogether. The online games that I have got working on there run better on Linux then Windows anyways.

@GodFly: Then they will ether expect you to have the partitioning done already or use the whole disk.
