Alright, lets sum myself up.

-I have been playing this game since Red
-With the release of DP, I have traded my way to a team plus extra's of well IV'd and EV'd pokes
-After defeating many noobs on Serebii.net and other places that run with current Metagame rules, I have not touched my DS.

I was randomly invited to this guild. I guess I can crack out the DS, form a random team and duel people.

Lets see what happens...

i use ubers on my team but not the norm OU ubers you see on BR wifi, i use celebi for the trick room and baton pass, i use jirachi as a well an abrams tanks it just keeps using cosmic power and charge beam and im looking for a defensive deoxys but no one seems to have one T.T i try to shy away from OU because i dont like cookie cutters my sole goal when i play is that win or loose when you see team x you say "is that shadow's team?" though thats just me XD

Celebi and Jirachi aren't Ubers. They are considered Over used. I am a bit timid of battling a vet of Serebii, but I am looking forward to it.

Celebi is considered an OU poke from the metagame. They don't base it on availability, just stats, movepool and type matchups. I was hoping to keep the metagame rules as the Guild standard, but we'll see. Even though Mew was given out by the truckload in the US, Canadians and most other areas haven't had an event to get one. Neither him or Celebi made it up here. I hope Darkrai's event makes it up here. I managed to deal my way into getting a Legit Movie Darkrai (2 actually, one will be a tournament prize) but I lost a rare Pokemon getting him.

Bah, don't be afraid of me.

To be honest, this guild invite has kinda resparked my interest in pokemon.

Pokes I usually run with:

Bulky Gyarados, with leftovers (Physical Sweeper)
Scarf Gengar (don't ask why scarf, I have my reasons)
Gliscor (physical wall)
Blissey(special wall, duh)
Tyranitar(physical Sweeper)
Specsmence(special sweeper)

Others:

Cresselia(physical Wall)
Swampert(physical wall)
Manaphy(special sweeper)
Manaphy(Bulky version)
Starmie(Spinner/Special Sweeper)
Metagross(exploder, physical sweeper)

I will get around to recalculating their IVs again in a little bit

I am all about thinking differently, though I haven't had much chance to play competitively. I feel that my battle skills are still in their infancies. I need to start looking at more and more support and less offensive Pokemon.

Eh. Personally, I haven't really even battled anyone over the WiFi yet, so I really don't know how good I AM.

I simply call myself the unofficial Guru in my area because I've been with the games since R/B first came out (I was nine, hahah.), and have played through every plot (with the exception of Ruby/Sapphire/Diamond) so many times that it would make a person's head spin to think about it.

My level 100 count is only three in my Diamond Version, so I can't really competitively battle all that well, but in my Gold/Silver versions, it's well-past 100. I've also beaten almost ALL of the Pokémon side-games (like Snap and Stadium) thoroughly--and have gotten to the last round of Pokémon Puzzle League a few times on Very Hard, but haven't quite won it, yet.

I believe, like Kukem, that my battle abilities are still untested, but my strategy is full-out offense with Pokémon who can cut someone down in a few hits--with type advantages, of course--using reliable, easy-to-wield moves. I've never played defense or support, and I don't think I ever plan on it.
