Name: Eldawen

Age: 18 Turns

Description: Eldawen has long burnished gold hair that falls just below her shoulders, though it is almost always in a braid. Her forest green eyes betray every emotion she feels. She has a tall, toned figure from her turns of working as a healer, and a queenrider.

Personality: Eldawen is a strong-hearted girl who will take control of any situation. She is willing to help anyone without second thought. Her sweet, caring demeanor makes it hard for anyone not to like her. Her stable emotions help to make her a good leader. She will listen to anyone's suggestions or complaints, and praises to those who deserve it. She can also be disorganized and a little absent-minded at times. She can have a nasty temper when someone brings it to the breaking point.


History: Eldawen was the youngest daughter of Fort Hold's Lord Holder. At 10, she was apprenticed at Healer Hall. When she turned 16 she went to explore the abandoned Fort Weyr. Miraculously, she stumbled upon eggs there with some other youth from the surrounding areas. She Impressed the gold Sanrith, and subsequently became Weyrwoman.

Dragons Name: Gold Sanrith

Dragons Personality: Sanrith is a calm and gentle dragon. As with all dragons, she has a deep bond with her rider. Sanrith takes great pleasure in teasing her rider. Sanrith loves to be around other dragons, especially the weyrlings. She can also be mischievious around those dragons she considers friends. Always up for a good race or game, Sanrith loves to have fun when there isn't any work to be done.

Dragon Description: Sanrith is a light antiquited gold with pure gold, leaf-shaped dapples shining through. She measures in at 46 meters, bigger then most average golds.

Name: Zane (He thougt his name was short enough, so he didn't change it. Besides what could he change it too?))

Age: 20

Description: Pale skin and dark blue eyes that look almost black. Strong and likes to work with his hands. Midnight black hair that comes to the bottom of his ears, in certain light (like moonlight or candel light) his hair shines blue-black. He has a mouth that is almost always in a smile, like he finds the whole world funny. He has a few laugh lines around his face already, but what would you expect from someone who laughed when he Impressed?

Personality: He is mature and is a good leader in a fix. He loves to play and play jokes on people. He is very fun-loving and likes to relax. He may seem like a slacker to the outside world, but he just gets his work done fast so he can have fun. But don't worry, he always checks to see if he did it right and his dragon always comes before play. He is easily amused and loves to laugh, doing so very easily. He may need to be brought back to the moment sometimes, but you can always count on him to get things done. He loves the dragonrider legends and holds rider honor in high respect. When you see a frown on his face, you know that something is wrong.

History: Zane and El have known each other for a long time. He was the son of teh cook in Fort Hold and is two years older then El. He and El were friends, though she was a Lord Holder's daughter and he a cook's son. He amused her, he played trikes on everyone, that is how they first met. He stayed a respectfull distence from her though, he didn't want eather on of them to be yelled at. When he was 11 he went to aprentice at Healer Hall, thinking he was leaving El forever. He was very suprised to see her come to Healers Hall the next year. He came with El when she was exploring the old Fort Weyr. He was the second to Impress and he Impressed Zalith. He had always loved the stories of the dragonriders and is amazed his is one of the few left.

Dragon's Personality: Being a Bronze he is smart and takes care of the other riders. Has great responsibility and loves Zane. His is sometimes playful but mostly a solid rock to Zane's playfullness.

Name: Lyr'sa, goes by Lyr

Age: 16

Description:5'9", she is long and lengthy. Lyrasa has a strong body, both physically and mentally. Her hair, brown flecked with gold, reaches her shoulder blades. Her eyes are a yellow/gold. She has a scar that goes from her left temple and along her cheekbone; it stops about an inch from her nose. She says she received the scar as she fought for her life against a wild animal a few years ago.

Personality:Lyrasa has a quick temper, though she tries to control it. She is proud and headstrong, she is extremely loyal to the few friends she has. She has a fighting spirit and will never give up. She is outgoing and hates it when people judge before they know everything. Her parents death set her in depression for she was close to both of them. She is pulling out of it, but is still not completely stable in her trust of herself. She loves to have fun and will enjoy a night of games and fun and Harper stories. He mom taught her in the arts of healing so she tries to be usefull. One of her greates fears is to not be wanted or to stop being usefull.

History:She is a loner, a wanderer, and solitary. Her mother and father died in rockslide 7 years ago. Sheltered by strangers and distant relatives she survived. Recently she left to wander alone. She origonaly lived near Ista Hold, but whn her parents died she was shiped to relitives all over Pern so she had been around all of Pern. She ran away and came back to Ista. She was acctualy living in the Isat Weyr and was looking for the intruders when the eggs started hatching.

Dragons Personality: She was trained to fly fast and true and to be able to dodge Thread. She is good help when you try to sear too much Thread. Is the calm side to Lyr'sa's wild one. She has a cool head in nasty situations and is very mature. She will protect her rider with and intensity very like that of a protective mother. She loves her rider very much, even though she still doesn't understand all the things that go on inside Lyr'sa's head.

Name: Myrelli

Age: 52

Description: Myrelli is a tall, lanky woman with wiry muscles. She is in tip-top condition, seeing no reason why age should be slowing her down. Her skin is no longer soft, and is tanned and as tough as old leather. She has few wrinkles, and still retains the beauty of her youth. Or she would, if it weren't for the scar that runs across her left eye, a gift from Thread. The eye itself in a milky white and very startling in her tanned face. Her normal eye is a deep grey, almost black in its intensity. Her hair is peppered, its original color being black. But now she has white to go along with it. She keeps it cropped short, easier for her when she fights Thread. Myrelli looks like she acts: tough. She's one of those tough-as-old-left-too-long-in-the-sun-boot-leather type of lady. She's lived many years and acts like she knows it all. But if she's tough on others, she's even tougher on herself. She won't let herself or her dragon get away with anything, even though she loves her dragon more than anything in the world. But her strict nature is what makes her an excellent Candidate Master. She won't take any nonsense, especially from a candidate who cuts up. But she also has a rarely seen, kinder, more motherly side. It can come out an any time, for no reason at all. The trigger for this behavior is still unknown, even after all these years. One good thing about her is her patience, really. She can put up with a lot of stuff before she snaps. One other thing, Myrelli, being a Green rider, loves to flirt. She also likes younger men. So watch out.

History: Myrelli belonged to a Sea Hold, growing tough in her years of going out with the boats on to open sea. She wasn't a girlt o stay back home and gut fish. No, she acted more the boy than her older brother did. So of course she went out with her father every time he went fishing. And she pulled her own weight, doing every single job the other men and boys did. And she made it clear from the first that she wasn't going to slack off and that she wasn't to be given the easier jobs just because she was female. And she proved her worth, until her father became convinced that he couldn't do it without her. When she was 23 turns, her father's boat sank in a horrible storm. Not many of the crew survived. Myrelli herself barely did, and was found by a dragonrider as she was clinging for life to a piece of drift wood. He took her to the weyr, Myrelli being sunburned, dehydrated, and barely concious. She was nursed back to health, but wasn't allowed to go home until she was well. While she was recovering, the curent clutch hatched. So of course she wouldn't miss it. She got a good spot, in the lower part of the Stands, right near the queen egg. Not many were there anyway, too afraid of the angry Queen that was nearby. So Myrelli had the pleasure of being one of the first to see the new Queen's hatching. But while that had been going on, a Green had been inching her way, a trail of candidates following her. But the little Green ignored them. She only had eyes for Myrelli. Showing an amazing amount of mobility for a newly hatched dragon, she made her way up the Stands, almost falling into Myrelli's lap in her haste to reach the woman. Impression was made, amd Myrelli has been at the weyr ever since. She never even bothered to learn if her father or brother survived the sinking of the ship. When she was 33, she Impressed her Blue flitt, Verme, and began Candidate Master at age 36. She has been terrorizing candidates ever since.

Dragons Name: Green Jusighth

Dragons Personality: Jusighth is a dull, murky, green-brown. But she prefers it. She isn't a bright and happy dragon, so she likes that her hide isn't bright at all. Besides, bright colors hurt your eyes. She is rather small, with larger wings. So she is the perfect speed machine. But because of this, her stamina is small and has less stamina than the usual Green. But that doesn't bother her one whit, though she really wished she could fight Thread for longer periods of time. As mentioned before, she isn't bright and happen. She prefers to be called serious and content, but has often been called (not in her hearing) a party-pooper. She seems to spoil all the fun, since she is a very responsible dragon. But like almost all Greens, she has mood swings and gets proddy. You don't really want to be around her then.

Name: Aludra

Age: 23

Description: Aludra has the average height for a human female, about 5?6. Her face is oval in shape with a high forehead and high cheekbones with a gently pointed chin. Her eyes are tilted slightly and in color, they are an intermediate color between blue and green and sometimes seems more blue or green, depending on her mood. But you could describe her as fey, and a few do. Her hair is cut about shoulder length, and is layered, keeping the thick locks lighter and not so hot. Her hair is straight, thankfully and is a red-gold color, though not strawberry blonde. In build, she is trim and fit. She has muscles, but isn?t too muscular, since she really doesn?t work out or lift things much. Hmm? What words could describe Aludra? Loud. Happy. Hyper. Perky. Annoying. Enough words for you? She is always happy, no matter what. That?s where the annoying part of her personality comes in. How would you like having a person who is always happy and hyper around you? Besides, she?s loud. The girl couldn?t whisper if her life depended on it. She is almost never serious, either. But she is great at making people happy, able to bring up even the gloomiest person from where they are down in the dumps. She?s never sullen, never angry, never even annoyed. Annoyances just slide right off her, like water off of oiled silk. But she?s a determined little thing, and extremely bull-headed.

History: Aludra grew up in the weyr, without her parents. When she was only 5 turns of age, her father was killed, his Prism dragon going between. Without the love of her life, Aludra?s mother died soon after. She just lost the will to live. To defend herself from the sadness that threatened to swallow her, Aludra became happy. She won?t allow herself to ever feel sadness again, hating how helpless she felt at her parents? deaths. After she was fostered off, her foster father gave her a present to help cheer her up; two flitt eggs, which hatched into the ones she has now. When she was 15, she was chosen as a Candidate. At the Hatching, she Impressed a Blue. It was an odd feat for a girl, but it was accepted with little grumbling.

Dragons Name: Blue Fieryth

Dragons Personality: Fieryth is a bright sky blue dragon, and his personality is as bright as his apearance. He has the same bubbly happy character as Aludra, though thankfully he isn't as loud or as annoying as his rider seems to be. But he is an extremely loyal dragon, and will here nothing bad about his beloved rider.

Discription: She has a thin frame that is five foot one. Long, chocolate colored hair falls to the top of her waist. She usually has it tied up in a green colored strip of leather. She has remarkable green eyes that are comparable to emeralds. She has a fairly average face. It's not ugly, but she's not breathtakingly beautiful beyond all compare. Airinna wears hues of green, it being her favorite color, but on occasion will wear red.

Personality: Sweet, some times sarcastic, but usually has a very fun-loving attitude. She will, on occasion be rude, but only if she's under stress. She hopes for a green, not a gold. She likes to make people laugh, and to laugh herself. First impressions are often very important to her, as she tends to decide what she likes and doesn't like very quickly.

History: Airina grew up in a small house near Deneb Hold, though she only went there on special occasions. Her parents were kind of strict, but they were nice enough to Airina. She had no brothers or sisters, so she grew up semi-lonely. But, now, she has taken to Weyr life and is planning on staying for a long, long time.

Dragon's Brief History: Kayrith hatched in an other weyr, being transfered after a fall. She hatched rather late in the impressions, but as to why even she does not know. She went straight to Airinna as if she already knew where she was, and perhapes she did. The impression was made with a playful n** to Airinna's robe. The rest is history.

Age: 14

Description: Kiarn is 1.47 metres tall. She has hair that starts at the front in a small bob around her face, this ends in a v-like shape directly between her shoulderblades. Her hair is of medium thickness, is soft and is a light golden-brown in colour. She has a longish face with thin eyebrow, a biggish nose and hazel eyes that have flecks of both blue and green in them. She has small cleavige that is normal for her age. She is thin with a small waist and big hips. her legs are long and toned and her feet are medium size. She doesn't care what she wears while working or walking around the hold but during gathers and other special occasions she wears clothes thart complements her and her complexion. She normally pulls her hair back, plaits it or braids it depending on her mood at the time. Her skin tone is a dirty olive colour.

History: Kiarn grew up around animals. She shares a small bond with her twin sister though there is basically no commen ground shared with her and her family. She likes to draw, though finds that she doesn't have alot ofg time for drawings due to the chores she has to do. She was put in charge of the female herdbeasts when she was 10 turns, she is the only one who owns a dog though they all have runners. Thankfully they live were resources are high and there is plenty of land for the herdbeasts to graze. She has always awed at the sight of dragons in the sky but has never hoped to be a dragonrider herself due to the fact that for generations her family had been herders and she had never heard of the time when a herder was searched.
