ok all these Kikyo haters all say she iS A CLAY POT. its getting really old really fast. What do you think of the nickname?

I don't get it.

I mean, it sounds stupid.

Kikyou doesn't even resemble a pot, it's just something stupid the anti-Kikyous made up to make her seem stupid.

It was because when Kikyou was reincarnated, she was made from her ashes and graveyard soil. I should know this because those epidsodes were on the first anime dvd i ever got! ^^ So theres an explanation.

I think on the anime it even said she was made from clay. ;

This 'nickname' for Kikyou pisses me off.

And they came to this because in the anime they stated that she was made from clay and bone shards.

They just couldn't come up with any better reasons to dislike her.

I think it's their way of trying to take the human/live part of Kikyo away. I think they're trying to make Kikyo seem worse compared to Kagome in terms of how "human"(best way I can express it) they both are. In calling Kikyo a "clay pot", it makes whatever personality Kikyo has seem not her own, but that of something/someone else's. In this regard, they can say that Kagome is better than Kikyo because one of them is made out of flesh, and the other one is not. When in reality, no matter the substance their flesh is made out of, in terms of personality and experience, Kikyou takes the cake.
In a way, I know this is exaggerated a bit, it's like saying people with a darker color of skin should be the subject of hate. It's almost qualified to be called a racial remark in a sense.

In a nutshell "clay pot" is just as lame and retarded as "Kinky-ho" stare how is Kikyou Kinky or a whore for that matter? she's never had sex, she can't anyway even if she was alive. And since they are so stupid the odvisoly can't tell the diffence between a cocubine at a brothel and a miko at a shrine. Meanwhile the villagers seem to think Kagome is one because she's always in that skirt and she can't take a hint even when they say outloud that her outfit is skimpy or "no mortal garm"
