First of all, I have been raised around the Nintendo name, and it is really hard for me to go any other way...
Also, Nintendo is way more affordable than any of the others, and I don't feel like paying $400 for entertainment, no matter how good.
Plus I could never leave Mario... xd

Nah, the only Non Nintendo system I have is a PS2, which died a few weeks ago.

Plus I could never leave Mario... xd I know exactly how you feel... but for me, it's sega and sonic. Come on! It obvious motion controls. Duh! ... and the price tag.

Because I already had a 360 and a PS3....decided to get the 3rd one.

Nintendo was what got me into gaming to begin with, and even though I was more of a Sega and Sonic person when I was a kid, it was the N64 I wound up getting afterwards, not a crummy Sega Saturn. That's why I always wind up buying the Nintendo consoles first...hell, I even bought two Wiis on day one, one for me and one for my mom to give to my little brothers for Christmas.
Although I have to admit, I have a 360 as well...

I chose the DS Because it was the cheapest best Handheld that was out. I got the Wii as a Graduation Present and at first I wasn't really into it (Before I had it sweatdrop ) But then when I realized Brawl and Fire Emblem were coming out on the Wii I wanted it more. I have a PS2 But rarely play it unless I rent a new game for it. The PS3 Was way too expensive and I didn't want all the bonus crap like music and videos or w/e I wasn't much of a Microsoft fan so... And also Wi-Fi Is free! You need to pay to get Online for an Xbox cool

Wii is the most futuristic and most entertaining next gen system out, its the only one that can really get you off the couch with your friends. Plus remember when you were a kid? trying to make the character move by moving the controller not the directional buttons? ahhhh it just brings back memories....

I suppose if I had to use one word to describe why I chose the Wii over the 360 and the PS3 it would be potential. The Wii remote offered the chance at a new type of gaming, and honestly around that time I was getting tired of the standard control scheme.
I think I made the right choice. Perhaps the best thing about having purchased one is that I've been able to get several non-gamer friends of mine into Wii Sports, and in turn into other titles as well.

The Wii had games like Brawl,Twilight Princess,and Super Mario Galaxy coming out mrgreen ,but I do have a Xbox360 and Halo 3 but Nintindo is better in my opinion

Legend of Zelda LoZTP was not made for the Wii excluusively tho...they are making one though completely Wii compatible xD
