Ok, First, I want to welcome out dear captain back. I wish that was all i was going to do here, but sadly, we have some problems. Ok, Guilds for this sort of thing are starting to die faster then they are created, so we need to start banding together with the still standing guilds out there. I will post links at the end to a pair of other GTS guilds, and one to a guild that may or may not fall into you guys cup of tea, but in my mind would still be appropriate. To all our crew, sub-captains, and captains, and most especially to our Owner, i ask that you begin Forming alliences with these guilds. It's good to see you taking interest in the Guild's well-being. Bravo, lad.
However, the guild is going exactly as Pearl, and us Mods, intend it to. We don't want a hoard of people in here, especially when there are chances of them being illiterate and downright annoying.
Also, all three of those guilds are far too specific. We are general Micro/Macro. We cover everything that's under that, be it Foot Fetish, Crushing, Vore, or even a specific scenerio like an island of giant Amazons. If anything, they should be trying to ally or merge with US, not the other way around.
Me and the other Mods have all discussed this, and though, again, we appreciate your concern, it's not necessary.

Ah, but I never said merge, I said ally. And the idea here is that where not trying to just make ourselves larger, we want to get the GTS/micro community better. And since, as you say, where a general guild, who better to make the first move.
If your no going to do, fine, not a problem, but at least leave the links up for the benefit of members that have an interest.

Well, Jason did say "ally or merge" so I dont think that is a legitimate counter argument.
Even to ally with these guilds would prove to be an illogical choice for us. Guilds are all created by their respective owners. This means that the philosophy behind each guild varies with the creator. Here at Extraordinary Heights, our intent is not to be "just another micro/macro fetish guild." We attempt to be a community of our own, that is selective in its membership. That's not to say that we want to exclude people, only that we wish to maintain our own standards of behavior and content. These other guilds have wildly different approaches to the Micro/macro topic and from inspection only: they are nothing like our own.
Now from another perspective, you cited inactivity and the death of guilds as a reason that Extraordinary Heights should ally. From personal experience, most within the so-called "community" are far more interested in personal satisfaction than with any sense of community. This is why most of the small giantess guilds fail. When members dont find their desire satisfied, they become inactive. In my opinion, they are doomed from the start.
Normally, there would not be a follow up to something like this, but you seemingly disregarded what was said. We dont act without reason.

Alright, alright, I'm, trying to start trouble or challenge any one's authority. Just Trying to make a point, But I"ll drop It.
I Just ask that you guys leave the posted links in place so that if some one's interested, they can look into them on there own.

(o.o and not the pokemon. hehehe. :3) ::Huggles Jason:: To further the discussion- I'd thought that as I'd read your post Sephiroth. People have lives and such- and I've made everyone aware of my absence- and that a rekindering of the guild is in place. We will not be merging with any other guilds because I can honestly say that this is the best size changing guild on Gaia, and we plan on keeping it that way. We're picky on who we choose simply- as Jason already said- because literacy is an important attribute for choosing guild members. :3 So I don't really see any problems.
