This is more of a character rant than anything.

So I posted it in the Members' subforum.

But...

It's getting weirder and weirder. I started a thread about plotlines just coming to you out of nowhere, using the example of picking up my camera and suddenly realizing the entire plot of Snapshot.

As I said, it's getting weirder.

My first photography class, tuesday, I was looking over my camera when this tall, lanky boy in like...a suit and tie oO...sat next to me. He snatched my camera away and started explaining how to use it in great detail, kind of out of nowhere. When I went to put it back in the bag, he blurted out, "Oh! The lens cap! You forgot it!" --looking physically pained.

I laughed to myself, and jokingly had one of those, "Wouldn't it be funny?" thoughts.

Tonight, he comes back in, overdressed again -- but with a long scarf instead of a tie. Sits next to me again, with a nod, and spends a lot of the class kind of fondling his camera.

I could barely pay attention to the professor (which is okay, I know how to adjust the aperture anyway XD), because the first line of the main body of the story kept echoing in my head..."He was a student..."

I know it's totally insane of me to be thinking this way, but it feels pretty surreal so far. It's like the world has dropped Kata into my lap, and I can't help but thinking, "If this were a movie, I'd be in for some weird s**t over the course of this semester."

Feels like weird s**t is gonna happen, movie or not. emo It's just...I've had people who've reminded me of characters before, but not to this degree. It's seriously, seriously creepy.

Am I going insane, or have other people run into real-life character clones, too? emo

That... is seriously creepy eek . I have never had anything like that happen to me, and I hope I never do. I don't really get on very well with my characters, even if they didn't know what I do to them.

Yeah, that's pretty spooky. Just to be on the safe side, don't let business-suit boy take your picture, okay? @_@

You know, when I was in middleschool there was a girl named Ashley who looked just like my main character at the time (a skinny, white-blond elfy-looking chick named Ara). And Ashley was pretty bitchy, too, rather like Ara...but that could be because I had a habit of popping up in front of her with a camera. *twiddles thumbs innocently*

I've also had a friend who wrote about meeting her fiancee, oh, a year in advance of actually meeting him. She wrote about him by name and guessed their meeting date almost down to the week. (As a side note, it never worked out between them.)

Would the saying "small world" be appropriate in this case? xd
