Leaning over the counter, Clear tapped a plant, it sprung to life. The light in the room was green, hence the being in a greenhouse thing. The room was filled with exotic plants and butterflies and all sorts of bugs. Clear had taken to being a botonist, she worked for a high class phramisutical(sp?) company as a researcher. Her hair was pulled back tight in a bun, it had been dyed a dark red color, she wore a white lab coat over her casual faded denim jeans and black tank top, she had removed the anti-eyebrow, both Monroe, both collar bone, and the sternum piercings long before, before she even gave birth, that was fourteen years ago. She'd also removed the bellybutton and hip piercings before that, but got them redone a few years later. She wore a pair of black flats on her feet, a pair of black plastic framed glasses, and in her arms was a clear clipboard stacked with papers. Though one of the more interesting things about Clear's new attire and appearence was the white plastic nametag adorned on the labcoat, that read, "Rivers-McArthur, Clear". But by far the gorgeous diamond ring on her right ring finger was the most interesting. It's golden band and three medium sized diamonds made it stand out on the still quite young Clear.

Her phone buzzed, a loud chirp sprang from the pocket of her labcoat as she checked something on her clipboard. She jumped slightly before digging it free and looking at the alert, "Lunch with Dain". She spun on her heel and shot out the door, she latched it tight and placed her coat on a hook outside the door. She dropped her clipboard off at the counter and smiled at the young blond sitting at the desk. "I'm going to lunch. I'll see you later, Marie." Marie nodded as Clear disappeared off the roof and down the stairs.

A few minutes later, Clear sat in the diner, chatting with the waitresses about how her husband was always later to their dates and that he would be late again. She had taken her hair down, it was short now, to her shoulders, and layered. Her hazel eyes watched the door from the booth she sat at, but her conversation was with the two female waitresses. 'Dain, you're a dead man.'

Clear smiled over at Dain, "That's what you said last time." She sighed, "And what, no kiss?" She leaned over and kissed his cheek, laughing a bit. Clear had changed personality wise as well. "You seem kind of stressed?" She looked Dain over, raising a suspicious eyebrow.

"Their springing to life, you could say." She grinned, Clear's smile held new light than when she'd been in Camp. She was definatly older, but still had that youth beauty that came with being a half-blood. "And what about Physics? Easiest class I ever took. You're only teaching it, I'm using it, along with Biochemistry, Biology, and Botony. Wanna talk about science?"

Clear leaned back, pulling her feet up to the chair and sitting cross-legged. She smiled her bright features watched Dain for a moment before turning to the window. "I can't believe you still drive that thing." She shook her head as she spoke about the Firebird.

"It runs on gas, Dain." Clear smirked, "And that bike? God, both of those things would get creamed by my Mustang and you know it." Too bad Clear never drove that hotrod that sat in their garage. She preferred walking to work and simple errands.

"I'm not hungry." That was a little out of the norm for Clear, but at that moment, she wasn't. She had other things on her mind, like how to tell Dain that their oldest daughter, Josephine, had a date tonight.

"Dain," Clear turned her gaze to her husband, smiling, "You know, Josephine's school is having a dance tonight." She watched his face for any reaction, she was going to have to work her charm with this one, it was a going to be a tricky subject with Dain.
