I've been having really wacky conversations with Raven lately, and the other night she asked me, out of the blue "Phoe, if you were a tree, what would you be?"
I thought it was strange at the time, but the more I think about it, the more curious I become. If I were a tree, what with all the different kind out there, what would I be?
So.. while I ponder this, I thought I'd ask you guys as well.
If you were a tree, what would you be?

I think......that I would be......hm. Maybe an alder or pine. Those are the only trees I'm really familiar with, besides the birch.
Edit: That linky says I'm a hornbeam tree =D I love hornbeam!

I'd be a Weeping Willow...they are such awesome trees.
I found a site that tells you what tree you are based on your birthday and it says that I am a Cedar, which based on the meaning given kind of fits to. But I'll stick with my original answer.

but the only tree that sticks out in my mind is the weeping willow, i will have to think on others though.

The site seems, at first glance, to follow the Celtic tree horoscopes... because i'm an elm there as well.
Personally, I like to think I'd be an Aspen. Hard to kill, hardy in most weather, Shows it's beautiful golden color when the world is dying around it (Autumn, people...)
But I've been informed by Kit I'm a good, sturdy Oak.. and full of nuts. stare

No fair looking at sites for birth trees... this is an excerise in self awareness. Think about the qualities of the trees, and apply them to yourself. Think not just about the good, but also the bad. Basically, if I were to turn you into a tree at this very moment in time, what kind of tree would you be?
If I were turned into a tree right now, I'd probably turn into a ________.

I didn't look there first, but only found it after when I was trying to find something on the meaning of each tree. I agree that you should think of what tree you most identify with, not just say I am _____ tree because some chart said I was. It was just fun to see if what I thought I was even close to what it said I was.
