Fatal Fairytales
All it took was one look at your mesmirizing eyes;
I opened up the window and I crawled inside
Of your heart-your heart that brightens up the skies,
And makes the shadows unable to hide.

It's funny what one soul can do to another one;
Love marked when my life truly begun,
Yet now love seems to be acting like a gentle gun;
It seems like reality can no longer be shunned...

Wishful thinking disappoints to extremes;
I must remember my life is ripping apart at the seams,
That there is nothing to comfort my screams,
And fairytales are meant for dreams.

So lock those dreams up and throw away the key;
Fairytales keep you down; they don't set you free;
Deep down I have to realize that this is meant to be,
And that there never really was a you and me.
