Muse won the Triple J Hottest 100 for 2007 with Knights Of Cydonia.
I don't think anyone but Mystik will understand the significance of that.

Muse are also nominated for a Brit award here in the UK for Best Live Act.
I don't know if ICC or Mystik will know what a Brit Award is but it is really big XD

I think I should explain why:
- The Triple J Hottest 100 is the biggest music poll in Australia. Voted by the Australian people. I personally voted for Knights of Cydonia.
- KoC edged out the favourite, Straight Lines by Silverchair, by 13 votes. Slimmest margin in this poll ever.
- Radiohead, who had actually released an album in 2007, got 1 entry in the chart. Jigsaw Falling In To Place...at 93. Muse released an album in 2006, but two singles early in 2007. Invincible came in at 58, KoC at 1.
- The song that comes in at #1 is usually released towards the end of the year. KoC was released at the VERY START. This is an amazing feat.
I have faith in the Australian youth again!

DarkDeviantDevil Muse are also nominated for a Brit award here in the UK for Best Live Act. I don't know if ICC or Mystik will know what a Brit Award is but it is really big XD I'm guessing it's just like the ARIAs, which are the big Australian music awards?

On triple J's saturday countdown, KoC was number 1/2 for about 3 months and the only reason it left the charts was because they realeased another song, Invincible.
Haha, when it was announced, my friend called me and goes "OMG MUSE WON!" And I go "OMG, I KNOW! AND THEY CALLED DOM!" Then I ran downstairs and go to my parents "I was right! Muse did win =D"
It was a great day. In true Aussie spirit mum made us have meat pies for dinner. =D

The BRITS are the big British award, Muse have won a couple in the past. That said, the BRITs aren't as big as they used to be. About 10 years ago, it was a major achievement, it's not really anymore.
