This is a roleplay based off of a story that I was going to write. It's about a young woman who lives in a village in the medieval times. The woman is blood to a royal family, and she is next in line when
her father dies (she has no mother..) to rule the kingdom.
Although she is a female, she will be looked upon as a King, and nothing less. Her fellow villagers look up to her and worship her, and she hates every minute of it. She hates the fame and she hates the attention she gets every day. Finally, one day she decides to take a walk away from the village, and her journey starts there.
I will be playing the main character of this roleplay. Her name is Arkaina. She is my personal character and I've had her for years, so it's time to put her back into action.
-A few rules before we get started-
1. Please PM me your profiles if you would like to join. I know it's a big hassle but I will be posting them in a reserved spot for everyone to see.
2. Keep the vulgar and profane language to a minimum. A swear word here and there will be fine, but don't make it a habit.
3. Please be literate. It is difficult to read one's post that is using chat, leet, or n00b speak.
4. This roleplay is about a girl who falls in love with another girl (Kt-Chi), I ask nicely that you do not engage in a romantic RP with Kt-Chi, because we already have plans for that. Plus she's my real life girlfriend.
5. Follow Gaia's ToS.
6. Be nice and courteous to fellow RPers, nobody likes an a*****e.
7. If I feel you are breaking these rules, I have the right to ban you from the roleplay, and if you put up a fuss about that, I will ban you from the guild. 3nodding
8. Violence is welcome because it is the medieval ages. Please do not kill a character who isn't around to defend themselves.
9. Please post as often as possible to keep this RP going. If you're going to join, then be active..that's all I ask.
10. Last but not least, have fun with it. Be creative and use your imagination. The only limit to fun is the limit a person's creative imagination has..remember that. 3nodding

Age: 17 or 18
Personal description (a paragraph of what he or she looks like or a pic will be fine.): Black hair with blue streaks in a messy ponytail, midnight blue eyes, a black tunic with belts crossed over her chest, two crossed belts on her waist, baggy black pants that are torn a bit at the knees and frayed at the bottom, black heavy steel-plated boots that go up to her shins, and fingerless leather gloves that go a little past her wrists. The tunic is open a bit at the top, revealing the top of her chest, but nothing more. She has a sword strapped to her back that seems to have some significant value to her. More will be discussed later.
Race (human, elf, etc.): Human elementalist.
Weapons carried and used: The sword strapped across her back, some martial arts, and usage of elements.
Any special abilities: She can sense things from afar sometimes.
Extra information we should know: She is a lesbian.

Personal description (a paragraph of what he or she looks like or a pic will be fine.): A little bit taller than normal human females. Short, brown boyish hair. Ears are a bit pointed, and pierced. Wears a mix of clothes from what humans and elves wear, practical yet stylish.
Race (human, elf, etc.): Half-elf. My mom is an elf and my dad is human. Oh mom, why oh why did you fall for a human?
Weapons carried and used: Bow and arrows, dagger strapped to her shin, and a sword at her waist.
Any special abilities: Nimble, thanks to her mom. Also has a connection to nature. Very good with a bow.
Extra information we should know: She dont like her dad that much. Or humans for that matter. She pretty much became an outcast because she dont belong with the humans or the elves.

It was midday, and already it felt as though the hours were being sucked away. The sun was high in the sky and the wind was blowing gently across the land.
Standing on the roof of her home, Arkaina, the Ruler to Be of the peaceful kingdom, stared down at the villagers as they went on with their day. She sighed and looked up at the blue sky. Some gray clouds had rolled in from the north, looking like it was going to rain later. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, the clean, fresh smell of the wind giving her a sense of calm. Letting her body become lost in meditation, she zoned out everything that was taking place, the villagers, the sound of animals, the voi--
"M'Lady!! M'lady Arkaina!"
Arkaina was jolted out of her meditation state when the cry of a young woman dressed in maid's clothing started bellowing up at her from below. Sneering slightly, but avoiding letting the woman see, she looked down and gave a fake but reassuring smile.
"Yes?" Arkaina responded with a bit of anger in her voice.
"I'm so sorry to have bothered you M'Lady..your father needs you to run an errand for him, please go to him..", the maid said before turning and walking away..
Arkaina bit her lip in slight frustration and sighed before jumping down off of the roof and landing on her feet..no normal human could do that. A couple of heads turned and stared for a few seconds, and just as Arkaina looked back at the wondering people, they continued what they were doing.
"Heh.." She walked through the village, heading toward a quite large castle..

Chi was sitting on a tree branch, her feet dangling freely.
She breathed in deep, enjoying the nice day. It was one of her favorite things to do, be outside. There, she felt most like herself.
A little bird flew to her side, landing on a smaller branch above her.
"Hi little guy, wanna come sit on my finger?" She held out her pointer finger.
The bird came and sat on her finger, then sang happily.
The half-elf was pleased, smiling at her new friend.
When he was done singing, Chi pet him on his head and told him to visit her anytime he wanted.
She stretched and jumped down off the tree, her weapons clanking as she did so.
"Guh, I gotta work on my stealth skills more", She said to herself.
"Hm, midday, its about time I bathed" With that, she headed to the river.

As Arkaina reached the large gates of the castle, she growled and mumbled under her breath.
"Can't you send your servants to do you dirty work?..that's what they're there for.."
She sighed and then walked past the guards who bowed their heads in respect while she walked by. She rolled her eyes without them seeing, then gave them a small grin. This kind of treatment got on her nerves. A normal person would love being treated like this, she just wanted to be left alone.
As soon as she got inside the castle, she saw her father organizing his wall of various weapons that had been used in wars long ago. She smiled to herself, and as she walked up the steps to him, he turned and gave her a father-like grin.
"You wanted to see me, dad..?"
He patted his chair for her to sit down and she did so. The best part about being the King's daughter was being able to sit in the most comfortable chair in the village. Arkaina loved her father very much, but sometimes he was just too much to handle. Without her mother around anymore, he was all she had..
"I need you to go to the lake and clean some of these weapons off for me. They've been collecting dust sitting here, and I can still see some of the blood from the enemies they'd slain.."
Arkaina looked at him in disbelief and sighed. "Sure thing.." It was something to do, and she had wanted to go for a swim anyway..
"Take my horse with you and have one of the servants load of the weapons in the bag.." He smiled down at her. He had the warmest smile..for being a King, he was really the best father anyone could have.

A little bit later, her father's horse was set up and ready to go. Various weapons were tucked neatly into a large bag on the horse's side, and just as Arkaina put her boot into the stirrup to climb on him, her father gave her a quick nod in gratitude. She pulled the reigns and began to gallop out of the village, into the forest, and in the direction of the lake, leaving a trail of dust and dirt behind her.

Chi arrived at the lake, her favorite one, so beautiful. Its just south of the castle.
The castle, hmm.. She thought, taking a seat on a nearby rock. Thats why I despise humans so much. All wrapped up in wars and conflicts, not caring for those they hurt, WHAT they hurt. Chi loves nature. Humans just dont get it. Their destructive ways; cutting down her trees, spilling blood, harming her precious animals. She hated that the most. She killed only when necessary. For food. Not for sport. Chi still couldnt get over her mom marrying a human. Shaking her head, she got up.
She took her weapons off first, then her clothes. She wrapped them neatly and laid them on a rock close to where she'd be bathing.
The half-elf then dipped her toe in the water to test it. "Oooh, just right." She said to herself.
She dove a little into the water, to get her hair wet. She surfaced, and swam towards the other side, where there happened to be a small waterfall.
Chi stood under it, letting the water make her forget about all her troubles.
The water making a constant noise was very soothing.

Arkaina's horse trotted quietly through the forest and reached the clearing where the beautiful lake sat. She looked down and saw some weapons and some clothes..
Someone's here..
She jumped off of the horse and started to unload the weapons in the bag. She set them down one by one and then sighed. She laid the bag down like a mat so she could put the clean weapons on there without getting them dirty. Arkaina didn't mind the water, so she walked into the lake, all of her clothes and her boots on, carting an armful of weapons with her. The water went to about her waist from where she was standing.
She sensed someone..she looked over and through the powerful rush of the waterfall she saw what looked like a person standing underneath it. The sword strapped across her back was touching the water a bit.
She looked away from the person and began cleaning off the weapons in the water, glancing from time to time at the being beneath the rushing water.

Chi figured she was clean enough, so she slipped out from underneath the waterfall and back into the water.
Something wasnt right..
She saw a figure standing in the water.. with weapons.
"Damn, and here I am, naked. Oh well."
Thinking she would be able to grab her clothes without the... one clad in black not noticing, she swam to another part of the shore and got out.
Chi snuck around behind the horse and scratched his ear. The horse looked at her and stood there silently, almost in admiration.
She was about to grab her clothes when she saw that it was a woman.. A very attractive one at that, being human.
But then her eyes trailed to the weapon she was holding, and saw that it had blood on it.
That was it. She wasnt going to stand around anymore and watch these stupid humans kill.
She then walked over to the edge of the water and yelled at the woman.
"HEY YOU!" Chi called out, obviously peeved.

Arkaina's head shot over to the direction of the voice, and dropped the weapon, the heavy steel making it sink into the water.
It startled her and then she saw the figure from behind the waterfall was now standing beside her horse.
"What? I wasn't looking, I swear! I was just washing these weapons off.."
Arkaina looked the other woman dead in the face and noticed how cute she was, then formed a slight grin.
The horse looked at Chi and neighed quietly, as though he were happy.

"Wasnt looking.. what?" Chi looked down and remembered she was still naked.
And she still didnt care. She had an agenda.
"Your weapons." She pointed. "They have blood on them. Why. Who or what did you kill? And who do you think you are cleaning them in MY lake?
She crossed her arms over her chest, waiting for an answer and an explanation to all of her questions.
The half-elf muttered under her breath, humans..

Arkaina stared at the naked form in front of her. Then just as soon as she asked who Arkaina had killed, the tiny grin that was on her face had turned into a glare.
"I haven't killed anyone. These are not my weapons..they're my father's collector weapons from the wars that waged a long time ago. His ancestors used these weapons to defend the land that you're standing in. And..YOUR lake?.."
Arkaina began to crawl out of the water, ignoring the sunken weapon and walked up to the other girl who was standing naked before her, then got a couple of inches away from her and whispered in her ear.."This is my lake..I am the King's daughter.."
Arkaina glanced at the girl's face and grinned softly..Chi smelled nice..the scent of this half-elf had sent chills down Arkaina's spine.
