Sorry I'm not around much guys, I do come in a read what's going on I just don't always have a chance to post. School is hectic, the teachers are bombarding us with tests and the like before we go for Christmas break and I still have shopping left to do and rituals to prepare for.
So on a lighter, non mythological note (Or maybe if you like you can add some mythology into it.) let's get into the holiday spirit. What does everyone here celebrate around this time of year? How do you celebrate? Traditions and/or rituals? And last but not least, favorite seasonal songs?

Winter Solstice/Christmas.
I celebrate Winter Soltice with a feast and my family celebrates Christmas with presents and a feast.
Heh...you should imagine what our summers are like.

I'm checking in every now and again. The internet is down at my house currently and won't be back up until at least Monday. But I'm jumping on every available computer that I can until then.

Bah, I've been here, just not in here. That is, here in body, so to speak, not in mind. Been a little out of it for a while, but I think the winter holiday has done me some good. 3nodding
Quit my job, school's still in the early 'easy' part, reading a good book (Not myth oriented, but a great book-"A Wild Sheep Chase" by Haruki Marukami), found a good Japanese learning program for the computer, got a story bubbling in my head... Feeling pretty good right now.
And I should be around more often, since I'm trying to stay away from the abortion debates that usually consume my attention. Not that I'll be much good; I'm pretty sure all I know is surpassed by the great knowledge of Thor and Lugh. wink

The Oracle of Delphie was dedicated to him. Small correction and addition. Apollo was also the greater Greek god of the arts and literature and others. The correction is that he rescued the Oracle and so she fell under his judgements and favor.
