Me and my fiance was talking in bed one day about the way we would mayve raise our future children. When i told him that if my child went to far i would spnak him or her on their ut. He old me that would be child abuse by the time we do have one. To me is bull i understand beating your IS child abse but a spank on the butt isnt. So for our debate how far is to far is spanking a kid on the butt child abuse or should you still be able to it.
*NOTE* Im just saying a swat on the child butt not full on hitting them just want to clear that up.

Spanking them on the butt isn't going to far. It's not child abuse.

true and no its not abuse but the thing is the legal system is set to where its posible if you piss the kid off anogh that it may work if he says you abuse him but I do believe that thats the right thing to do babying the child and not punishing them for doing wrong will just make them think its ok to do it again

It isn't wrong completely when you spank your child....your child need to learn a bit of discipline....

very true but the basis of the fact is that the world today is trying to make it if you even do so much as that you get put in jail for child abuse

I don't think spanking is wrong..but I personally don't think a child under 3 should be spanked unless what they did was a danger to them self or others then 3 swots and a stern talking to is in order.

well that while they may be young at that age still it proves that everyone knows the mojorty of the time they wont understand you talking to them about it being a bad idea wont get the point acrost geting spanking them so tehy know you will do somthing about them doing somthing tehy know is wrong works far better as long as you dont hit to hard

I hate it when people beat their kids, but I believe that when your child does something wrong that they should be spanked. Otherwise, they grow up without understanding that there are consequences for bad decisions.

well i by no means mean beating the kid when they do somthing wrong just a light tap a few times to where it barly hurts them so they at least get the point
