Just curious to know if anyone has heard of or is going to Penguicon this April?
FYI, it's a sci-fi convention AND linux expo(hybrid event). So if you want to check out a writing panel or want to join in on an install fest or any of the numerous events that is going on, it's definitely something worth at least looking into.

Oh yeah, before I forget, here's the site for Penguicon. Also, it's located in Troy, MI. Did I mention that they serve LN2 ice cream in their hospitality suite?

Well, it's still a ways off but I'd like to try and convince some of you to come out to this year's Penguicon. This last year was a blast and if you still haven't been out to try some of the very awesome LN2 ice cream, then you at the very least need to come out and check out the musical guest that the convention featured last year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDejvryAFN0Trust me, you're missing out on such a great event. Additionally, it's now right outside of the airport(and I do mean right outside). Give it a chance guys. Oh yeah, did I mention that Will Weaton will be in attendance this time?

i would go in an instant but im a 14 year old in NZ and as much as my dad and i love Linux i don't think were flying anywhere right now
