is it just me or does most of the stages in brawl move in even the slightest of ways? I know that certain stages like Smashville and New Pork City dont but almost all the other new stages change in some shape or form. for example: Lylat Cruise-it tilts as you play Skyworld-its platforms breakaway. I'm not trying to gripe im just stating that i think they are making these just to try and showcase the Wii's power.

well think of it this way. There wer'nt as much in melee and they're trying to make it as if it is the last smash bros game so they're mixing it up a little. this time with more side scrollers. but remember that you can play melee stages which very few moved.

I noticed it imediately, and I don't like it. But as long as there are moving stages haven't taken over the game, then it's not a big deal. And I actually welcome Mushroomy Kingdom, because it doesn't cause most of the match to be spent making sure you have ground under you. Big Blue was annoying because there was often more open road than places to stand.

The only stages I can think of offhand that have been announced as scrolling is:
Mushroomy Kingdom Icecicle Summit Battleship Halbred Delfino Plaza Lylat Cruise
Skyworlds destroyable platforms just seems to make it another final destination level after some of the platforms are destroyed.
I'm know they are treating it as if it could be the last Smash Brothers and while I hope it's not it just may very well be the case. I mean 2 years between SSB64 and SSBM and now 7 years between SSMB and SSBB. So even if it is the final game I'll still enjoy it greatly.
I just dislike the noirfar stage while there are differences it just reminds me of a revamped Brinstar which doesn't seem like it'd be worth it

I like it it makes you move on your toes and theres not a dull moment. If all the stages were like battlefeild of final destination it would feel a little lacking.

I've noticed that too... Some of the stages I like moving, some I wish they wouldn't.

I personally liked Rainbow Cruise in Melee. It was second only to Final Destination.

Agreed. It was annoying to look at. This is why i dont like the idea of having scrolling stages. Rainbow Cruise is what ruined them for me

Lylat Cruise, Battleship Halbred, and Delfino Plaza look pretty good... Don't give up hope on the scrolling stages! gonk

Out of Melee's 2 Brinstar levels I preferred the Depths level with Kraid better than the acid rising one.

its cool we have lot of stages
and moving stages makes to not only fight but also being aware and survive , we have to be more skilled to fight at the same time we watch out for the ground
and well, that makes more options
in melee i always choose stage randomly, but i only put the ones i like in the menu, so the ones i dont like never appears randomly
im sure u can do that in brawl too so , dont worry about it
