I don't have many, or any rituals or spells that need much tool work. But I have a Sword and a Knife, not in anyway an athame, that I, will, use in my spell work. And, heres the fun part. They named themselves. My sword calls himself Feral, and My knife Brawn.
Have any of you had tools, or even every day items, that have named themselves?

Outside of a game setting, can't say that I have. Interesting though. Did the names just pop into your head?

ryuu_chan Outside of a game setting, can't say that I have. Interesting though. Did the names just pop into your head? More like I asked and they answered. I have a close bond my things, and can hear the voices of objects. Psychic hearing.

The closest I've come is hearing my dog's voice in my head once. He was pissed at the other dog. And he sounds like he'd kick serious a** if he was human. xd Vincent_Of_D.A.R.K More like I asked and they answered. I have a close bond my things, and can hear the voices of objects. Psychic hearing. Well, I can imagine the amount of energy invested in them, especially after using them for ritual.

I don't get along well with humans and therefor they don't seem to understand me. I would rather be in the company of Nigi the wolf pup who lives in the woods near my home.
