A deep and very old forest located outside of the city. There is rarely any activity there, and it is also where Eliakus' Mansion is located. Picture of Eliakus' home:

Eliakus put Winifred steady on her feet infront of the old house.
"I know it looks rough on the outside...but the inside is well kept." He explained, taking her hand to walk her inside.

There was a rustle in the bushes as figure slowly made his was through the brush. A bluish shadow being cast on the snow in front of him as he shivered for the lack of a jacket or warm clothing. The faint 'crunch, crunch' of snow momentarily drowning out the chattering of his teeth. Rags for m a seemingly recent fight hung off of the boy's body, blood dripping and making a trail of crimson behind him. 'One, two...One, two...One, two' the figure thought to himself. It was so cold out here. He could not longer feel his feet. In fact, the only indication of him being alive was the pounding of his heart inside his ears.
Finally the figure stumbled upon a house, and ran into it. Literally. Curse the fiends who had taken his walking stick! What horrible luck. Not amongst the other scratches he had a bloody nose too! How horrible. With a sigh though, the boy stretched his hands out in front of him. Lifeless, gray, (blue-tinted) eyes searched endlessly into the darkness. With his hands the figure managed to feel his way along the outer wall before finally finding what he hoped was the front door. He knocked on it and shouted. "Let me in! Please, it is terribly cold out here and I think I have lost my way." It was a warm voice (despite the shivering) and was laced with an American-Irish accent. James waited and hoped for a reply.

Winifred nodded to Eliakus, when they made it inside she looked around. The interior amazed her, it was beautiful, and large. She was about to speak to Eliakus when she heard shouting at the door, she turned around curiously. "Eliakus... sounds like someone needs help.." She grinned and looked back at him.

Eliakus sighed as he brushed her cheek with his fingers gently, leaning down to kiss her.
"I suppose we shall let him in?"
Eliakus strode over to the door, opening it.
The poor sight outside was something to be seen. With a small empathetic gasp he ushered the man inside, leading him to an old couch to sit upon.
"Winifred, please wait upon him, I shall be back quickly with some warm water for his feet, and some blankets. I'm afraid I don't have much in the ways of warm beverage..I might have tea..."
He scurried up the stairs, bringing down 4-5 quilts and blankets, and rushed off again to warm some water into a bucket.

Winifred nodded to Eliakus then looked at the... new friend? She looked him up and down curiously. "What happened to you?" She smirked at him.

Eliakus returned to the room with a bucket of warm water.
He placed the blind man's feet in the bucket.
"Well...he doesn't have his walking stick. I can only imagine that being blind, lost, and without your walking stick might cause problems..." He sighed softly.

Winifred snorted. "Only if you are a human." She muttered annoyed, she was happy when she arrived with Eliakus alone but turned out to be the exact opposite.

Eliakus pulled Winifred aside gently, not saying a word, only bringing his lips to hers.
"I know you are upset we are no longer alone." He whispered. "I promise we will have this space to ourselves soon."
He stroked her cheek lovingly, kissing her again, only this time he kissed her with more passion.
"I promise." He stroked her hair softly.

Winifred returned the kiss but stayed frowning. She crossed her arms and looked at him. Then nodded then sighed lightly. "Okay.." She mumbled quietly and kissed him lightly on the lips then pulled away and stood looking at him again. "I guess we should help are company." She growled softly.

Eliakus sighed, holding Winifred to his chest again.
"I know you're frustrated love, the sooner we help him, the sooner he can go. He doesn't look too bad, he just needs to warm up and get those scratches tended to."
He kissed the top of her head before walking over to the man, seeing that he had quit shivering.
"How's our patient feeling?" He spoke warmly.

Winifred nodded slowly and looked toward the blind man. "Why is a blind.. human out in the middle of a forest?" She asked harshly.

Eliakus put rested his chin on his thumb and pointer finger.
"That is a curious question. Perhaps he got pushed down here? Guided and abandoned?"
He knelt down and tended to his scratches, cleaning them, and bandaging them.
"Sir, do you have someplace I can take you after?" He looked to Winifred hopefully, the absence of privacy making him only crave his time alone with her more.

Winifred was annoyed and hungry now. She stared at the weak man with hungry eyes. She then turned to look at Eliakus. "I am sorry Eliakus.. I just. I just have to go." She whispered then disappeared.
