The band Japanese Visual Kei band Strange Element has been active since the year 2001. They've brought out numoures singles and about four albums now. They've done enough lives and such to gather a hude fan-base and are active online too. Creating their own site and keeping into contact with their fans. The band exist out of five members; Saito Ikari (Vocalist)Age; 25 (28-09-1983) Length; 1.61 m Weight; 45 kg Hair; At the moment long and black with pink Eyes; Black Piercings;Thirteen (three left ear, four right ear, three bottom lip two right one left, tongue stud, two left eyebrow) Tattoo;Butterfly on right collarbone, cats paw on underside of left wrist  Tooru Matsumoto (lead guitarist and backing vocals)Age; 26 (24-08-1982) Length; 1.70 m Weight; 51 kg Hair; At the moment long and black with purple Eyes; Black Piercings; Ten (Four left ear, three right ear, tongue stud, pressure point, left eyebrow) Tattoo; Sleeve left arm, Bat on backside under the neck Makoto Okada (Drums)Age; 27 (27-01-1981) Length; 1.71 m Weight; 52 kg Hair; At the moment short with one long bang on the right and blonde Eyes; Very dark brown Piercings; Six (three in left ear, two in right ear and a tongue stud) Tattoo; one sleeve on right arm Hiroshi Nakashima (Bassist and backing vocals)Age; 26 (13-01-1982) Length; 1.65 m Weight; 50 kg Hair; At the moment long and black with brown Eyes; Very dark brown Piercings; Three (two in left ear, one in right ear) Tattoo; none And then there was their fifth member, Sora. But as of late things havn't gone very well amoung the five of them, well it hasn't been going well between Sora and the rest. So not to long ago Sora left the band, leaving them with a member short. So they had to search for a new member, a guitarist and preferebly someone with experience with being in a band and someone around the same age as them, so between the 25 and the 27. So I'll be playing with Saito the vocalist. I amde the others just so you'll have an idea of who they are and what they look like. Feel free to play with them too if ya want to, though I do wnat to ask you not to use Tooru, he'll be my 'second character' since he's based on the character of a good friend of mine ^^ Hope ya don't mind. The rest if free to use.
Now all i need is your profile and I can put it in the expalantion en then we can start.

So this was it. It had only been a few weeks since Sora had left the band and they had already been assigned a new guitarist. This was their first meeting...well that wasn't entirely true. Of course they had met the man before, but they hadn't gotten the luxery of really talking with him. The last time was at the audition and they mainly chose the guy because of his skills with the guitar.
Tonight would be their first real meeting and everyone was looking forward to it. Well everyone expet for Saito that is. Saito and Sora never had any problems with eachother, so Saito was really struck when Sora decided to leave the band. It had left him deeply hurt, even though he too knew it waas for the best of the band. But that didn't mean he had to like the fact that Sora had been replaced so soon....even though he also knew it was for the good of the band....
The meeting was taking place in a private room in a large restaurant. They had asked for a room appart so they could get to know each other without getting disturbed by other guests. The members were dressed in casual clothes, which was still kinda weird in Saito's case since he liked to dress in either all kinds of layers and colors, or like a woman. At the moment he was in his layers period, so he was wearing a weird combo of pants and skirts with on top of that something hat looked like two shirts combined and a vest. His chosen colors for the day were pink, white, blue and black.
"I wonder when he'll be here" Tooru mumbled. The lead guitarist was sitting next to Saito on the couch and looked over at the quiet vocalist. Of course he knew how his friend was feeling, he always knew how Saito was feeling cause they had been best friends since as long as they could remember.
"Hm...." was all Saito answered as he lid himself a cigarette. Blowing the smoke up into the air he stared at the door. The door that would soon open and reveal their newest member. He knew he had to be nice and he knew he was going to do his best to be nice too....it was simply not in his nature to be mean to others without a good reason.
The rest of the band, well the two other members, were sitting on a couch next to Saito and Tooru and were playing some sort of game, though neither Saito or Tooru could really figure out what they were playing.
It was then that their manager walked into the room, "I's almost time, eeryone ready and on their best behavior?" he asked the members with a serious face.
"Yes daddy" Tooru joked and gave the manager a cute look. The older man chuckled and shook his head as he sat down on a chair.
Now all they could do was simply wait for their new member to arrive.

Yuji had gotten up that morning bright and early checking his closet for something he figured would be suiting for his first real meeting with the band he was now going to be a part of. After sorting through his entire closet he decided on a hot pink outfit with some purple and neon green in it. Taking his cloths he went and jumped into the shower blow drying his hair. After getting dressed he checked himself in the mirror noticed one eyebrow ring had fallen out so he grabbed anther gold one slipping it in before turning and going out the door.
Striding down the streets taking care of a few errands before he headed towards the meeting place he smirked at the looks he was getting as he walked along the streets stopping at a few stores on his way. Checking the time he noticed it was getting closer to the time he was to meet the others at the restaurant. Turning around down a side street to cut a few corners he strode towards the place humming to himself along the way.
Makoto stood up stopping playing the game that he had been playing with Hiroshi. "Sorry Hiroshi but I want this to start and see more of what the new guys like. I mean come on he may be good at playing the guitar but how is he going to fit in with us as individuals " he spoke to his long time friend.
Hiroshi sighed "Makoto calm down I'm sure he will fit in with us fine. Besides did we become friends with each other or Tooru even Saito-san right away hum" he spoke gathering the things they had been playing with up. "Come on lets get a drink while we wait. " he told the other. "Saito , Tooru would either of you like something to drink" he asked them lightly.
Makoto looked at him chuckling "Sure Hiroshi what ever you say mind you it wont be pretty if he doesn't get along with any of us " he joked with a smirk mind you he was not totally joking.
Yuji finally made it to the restaurant and strode inside asking to be shown to the right place. Once at the door he stood there with his hand on the door for a few minutes before turning the nob and walking just inside the room with a slight smile on his face. "Hello everyone forgive me if I'm late" he spoke not daring to check his watch not wanting to seem in bad taste or anything.

The moment the door openend for the second time all of the members looked up and Tooru tilted his head in slight question. The first he nticed were the clothe, they were even weirder then Saito's. Well not so much weider....but the colors, they were....well....they needed some work, at least in his eyes.
Saito too blinked when he layed eyes on their new member. He immediatly liked the clothing style, though he had to admit that the neon green was a bit over the top and should be changed for black instead.
Makoto and Hiroshi looked up too, also blinking at the cloths, but after having spent so many years with Saito they had kind of gotten used to weird cloths.
Tooru was the first one to speak up, "Welcome Yuji-san and don't worry about being late, you're right on time" he reassured the older male and then pointed at a couch opposite of the couch Saito and he were sitting on, "Please take a seat" he said then with a friendly smile. And since he was the band leader, it was his responsibility that everything went smoothly.
Saito nodded at the newcomer, nibbling on one of his lip piercings as he straightened a bit and leaned with his arms on the table that was located in the middle of the three couches. His dark eyes studied the older male, seeing he was about his length, though maybe a little lighter in the weight department. Well then at least he wouldn't be teased in being the shortest anymore.

Yuji glanced about the room looking everyone over everyone taking in their cloths and looks. He could feel everyone looking him over checking out his clothing. A grin came to his face as he did what was asked of him and took a seat crossing his legs noticing the other male leaning on the table nibbling a lip piercing. Smiling he thought about the others and being a part of this group and playing the guitar with them. It made him very happy he had always liked this band and loved playing the guitar.
Makoto and Hiroshi glanced at each other smirking at each other as they watched the new guy sit down on the couch They both sat down once more forgetting the game they had been cleaning up in favor of this. Both sets of eyes turned and took in what Tooru said yet neither spoke just looked a pleasant look on both of their faces.
He leaned back against the couch some "I'm very glad to be a part of this group now. " he spoke lightly. "I've always loved playing my guitar and you guys have always been extremely good. I've listen to you since the begging" he spoke with a soft smile. He glanced at his nails then folded his hands into his lap as he turned his attention onto Tooru the leader and younger male that was speaking to him.
Makoto glanced between Tooru and the new guy a slight frown coming to his face as he rose and paced around the room a little not speaking but keeping his senses alert for any sound or anything else.
Hiroshi glanced at Makoto as he got up wondering what was bothering him he could tell that the other male had something on his mind. He figured that he would talk to him later on when everything was done.
Yuji took notice of this but kept quiet yet it did unnerve him some to see the one male pacing and anther keeping a close eye on him. He un crossed and re crossed his legs

Tooru smiled and nodded as he took a seat again. He had a relaxed air about him, not feeling uncomfortable at all around the new member, "Well that's good to hear. You'll be our second guitarist, since I'm the lead guitarist, but you probably already knew this" he leaned back in the couch and grinned.
"Okay, just a quick introduction. I'm Tooru and I'm next to being the guitarist the bands leader" Tooru bowed his head and then glanced at Saito.
"Saito, vocalist. Nice to meet you Yuji-san" Saito managed to give the older male a smile, though it did look a bit forced. But he really was trying his best, it was just that he was still feeling miserable about Sora leaving them.
For a moment it was quiet, Saito blinking and looking over at Hiroshi and Makoto, "Ney Mako-kun, you're up" he said as he wtached the pacing man, wondering what was bothering his friend.
Makoto looked up and nodded at Yuji, "Makoro, drum. Nice to meet you" he said in a somehwat stoic voice before he started pacing once again.
Hirsohi pulled his attention away from his band mate and smiled at Yuji, "Hiroshi, I'm bass. It's nice ot meet you and I'm looking forward to working with you Yuji-san" he introduced himself with a pleasant and calm voice. Next to Tooru he was probably the one who looked after the band the most. Saito always called him 'Mom' since Hiroshi could be overly motherly at times.
"And the creepy guy over there is our manager Satoru" Tooru glared at the older male for not introducing himself properly, but the manager just blew him a kiss getting a soft chuckle from Saito as the vocalist shook his head in amusement of the manager's teasing behavior. Satoru always acted like a dork, though he was a really amazing manager.
"Yeah yeah I know Tooru" Satoru sighed as he made his way over to the door, "I'll go get the waitor so you guys can order" he said and left the room.

Yuji kept his eyes on Tooru as he spoke to him smiling he bowed his head in return then looked over at Saito as he spoke "Nice to meet you as well Saito-san " he spoke lightly. When the time came for Makoto to introduce himself he could see the other male was tense and really at first did not introduce himself. It crossed his mind that the drummer might have something on his mind but it seemed to occur since he arrived and began speaking.
Turning his attention to Hiroshi he smiled " Its nice to meet you as well Hiroshi and I'm looking forward to working with you as well. " he spoke then grinned as he heard the exchange with the manager. "Konichiwa Satoru. Thank you everyone for having me " he spoke lightly nibbling on one of his lip piercings. He was nervous this being the first time he was alone with the entire band and really truly getting to know them. He could tell that the one band member was upset about something but he did not know the other male well enough to really try and find out right now.
Hiroshi paid attention to the others as well as the new member but he was concerned about Makoto right now. The way the other male had stood and started to pace he thought it might have to do with Sora being gone even though he knew that Makoto and Sora did not get along the greatest esphesily at the end. Standing up he went over to the other standing beside him "Makoto we shall speak later hai " he spoke in a low voice for only the other to hear.
Makoto was not trying to be rude. In fact he was paying attention really just allowing the others to do most of the speaking. It was hard to think clearly at the moment. He did not notice Hiroshi get up and come over to him until he spoke. A small smile crossed his lips. " Doomo arigatoo Hiroshi " he spoke to the other in light tones before going and returning to sitting but his mind still did not want to stay focused. He glanced over at Tooru for a moment then at Saito before staring into his own lap.
Yuji caught what was going on but could not make out what was said between the two males. He felt a little out of place at this but said nothing. "Is there anything about myself that any of you would like to know that has not already been mentioned" he spoke trying to ease out of the way he was feeling. It had always been a dream to be a band mate to these males but he did not want it to happen this way really. He respected Sora even though he did not know him and thought that he had been a great addition to the band.
Hiroshi could feel the eyes on him and blushed as he followed after Makoto and sat down beside him. "What is your favorite color" he asked lightly trying to keep things light. He could tell that Saito was at least a little upset but he could understand the vocalist had never had any trouble with their former band mate so he could see him being upset at Sora's leaving the band. In truth he figured they all were even though some were under different circumstances then others with that situation.

Tooru was well aware of the the drummers discomfort, but he was glad Hiroshi was at least paying attention to the older male. Of course he coudl also try to talk to the man, but he didn't really think it to be the best to have a heart to heart talk with the older male.
"Yes, just tell us something about your hobby's and stuff you like" he nodded as he agreed with the direction Hiroshi was pointing the questions now.
Saito still didn't say anything. In fact he had caught the look from Makoto and wanted to speak to the older male. But he too didn't think it was very nice to Yuji to walk away now. So he decided to hold his tongue for now and try to really do his best to get to know the new male a little bit better. Maybe he was nice after all....
All the while their manager Satoru was walking around to get a waiter and after a few minutes he knocked on the door again and walked in, "Look what I found" he grinned and placed a whole crate with beer on the table, "A gift from the restaurant" he winked and sat down, "A waiter will be here later so get the orders and stuff" he informed then.
Saito blinked at the crate and then got up, "And once again I remember why we chose you as our manager Satoru" he grinned and grabbed a beer, "I take it we can smoke in here?" he asked then as he looked at the older male. After he got a nod from the man he grabbed his pack of cigarretes and lid one, throwing the pack on the table, "Their on me, so grab one if you like" he said to no one in particular, meaning everyone could grab one if they liked.
Tooru grinned and grabbed a bber, then blew a kiss at Saito as he grabbed a smoke, "I love this brand" he grinned and lid the cig.
Then both men directed their attention back at Yuji and Tooru hoped that the addition of beer in the group would loosen them all up a bit.

Makoto was thankful for the change mostly to have the introductions over. It wasn't that he was having any dislike for the new member it was just what he was feeling about their last member. The blame that he felt deep inside which he was unsure how to get rid of. Seeing their manager bring in the beer and the others taking some as well as the smokes he grinned for the first time in a while. "Thanks Saito-kun " he spoke lightly grabbing a beer popping it open he took a drink before grabbing a smoke and lighting it.
Yuji relaxed some as the manager came back in with the beer and he was thanful for the turn in conversation. Picking up a beer he took a sip before speaking "My hobbies are playing music as well as anything to do with the outdoors mostly" he told them softly before taking anther swallow of his beer. "My favorite color is blue " he explained.
Hiroshi declined both the cigarettes and the beer. He did drink some but right now he just did not feel like it at the moment at least. "Do you like to play or watch any sports?" he asked lightly before changing his mind and grabbing a beer.
Yuji took anther drink of his beer setting it down taking a long drag of his smoke as he listened to the question pondering his answer. "I do enjoy watching and playing sports but some more then others" he spoke with a grin. "Any in particular that you would like to know about" he asked.
Hiroshi took a small drink of the beer before setting it back down. "I enjoy tennis and most sports. Baseball is allot of fun to play and watch"
Makoto grinned "Baseball is allot of fun. I used to play it as a kid but then well drums took over my interest for the most part." he explained lightly.

Saito listened in silence to the conversation between Hiroshi and Yuji, just taking in the new info. He hadn't really expected the older male to be into sports and such. He then chuckled when Makoto mentioned his basketball period and held up his beer to his friend.
"He was the best of the team" he grinned and only grinned harder when he got a glare thrown his way. He had known Makoto for some years now since they had been on the same school and stuff.
"Well he was better then you Sai-chan, at least he reached higher then his teammates waists" Tooru said as he looked over at Saito with a teasing look on his face. He then ducked his head, though just a little to late and got hit on the head by his friend, "Itai...." he mumbled and rubbed his head with a pouty look on his face.
"That's your own fault" Saito grumbled. Of course he didn't mind being teased about his length, he knew he was short and he had gotten used to all the jokes and stuff. And as long as it were his friends making them he didn't mind it at all.
"Hey, maybe you three could play a game of basketball some time" Tooru then suggested and looked over at Yuji again, "It'll be fun" he winked at the older male.
Then suddenly a knock on the door could be heard and Satoru answered it. It was the waiter, "Good evening" he bowed to the men in the room and then put down some menu carts, "I will be back in a few minutes to take your order" he bowed again and left the room.
"Well guys grab a cart and make your choice. The treats on me, so don't hold back" Satoru said then a she grabbed a cart of his own and sat down.
Saito grinned and let out a little 'yay' as he grabbed a cart and held it up in front of his face, starting make his choices.
"Ya know Sai-chan's going to choose the most expensive on the cart right....even if he doesn't even like it" Tooru mumbled as he glanced at Satoru, before he grabbed his own cart, "It's a sort of tradition" he explained with a sheepish smile as he looked at Yuji. When Satoru would pay in a restaurant, Saito always made sure he took the most expensive food.
"I wouldn't expect any less" Satoru chuckled and shook his head at the thumb up he got from Saito.

Makoto chuckled "Yuji and Saito are almost the same length it would be interesting to see which one of the two of them could win in a basketball game" he said with a grin.
Yuji blinked "Well I've played but not a ton. If Saito is up to it then maybe later we can do that or anther time" he said with a small smile. It was getting easier to be with the other band members and he thought that Tooru was kinda cute. He was a tease that much was for sure but it was a nice personality none the less.
Hiroshi sat back and listened to the conversation going on around him. Hearing Yuji's remark he chuckled eying the two with a smirk. "Saito would you be interested in that ? " he asked feeling relaxed drinking a little more of beer before taking a large drink of it.
Makoto picked up a cart holding it in front of his face making his choices before he set it back down. He glanced around at the others as he watched everyone make their choices.
Hiroshi picked up his own cart and peeked at the choices that Makoto had made before making his own selection then he set it down. Getting up he went over to Makoto and walked to the window with him speaking in low tones with the other male for a few minutes before returning to the rest.
Yuji watched for a few minutes as the others were making their choices and he could hear most of the conversation going on around him. Picking up a cart he made his own selection then set it down. "Hey Makoto will you teach me a little drums some time." he asked lightly when the drummer came back to the group.
Makoto blinked when he was asked about teaching the new member a little about the drums "Sure Yuji san we will do that sometime" he told him with a small smile before turning a little in his seat and sipping his beer fiddling with his pant leg.
Hiroshi watched the exchange between the new member and his long time friend thankful that Yuji was trying and that Makoto seemed to have calmed down for the time. He had once more promised his friend that they would talk later and go for a walk on the beach.
