I myself have run into this problem and I've heard of alot of my friends doing the same how are we expecally as males supose to know how far is to far seeing as with me me and my ex were together for 6 months and I have a suspision I went to far cause after I did somthing with her and no not sex if thats what your thinking were not talking about anything like that but when I did somthing with her she started majorly backing off causing problems in the relationship eventully causing us to break up cause of the tension it caused from her reaction so my qestion is really how are we supose to know when we would be going to far to do somthing before it ends up in a break up?

I would say that it ultimately depends on the other person in the relationship. Of course, there are "all around guidelines", but people have a "comfortable spot" in a relationship where they don't want to go any further or take a step back from, you know?

Well, i guess if they had any past relationships you could figure out how those ended or how far they went in those. Other than that though.........I guess just try to figure out what her standard/perimeter is.

yea true tho believe me I've tryed doing the thing you stared with doing what your border was with the past one but that got me in trouble cause apparently I wasn't goign far enogh .....

lol yea I know and because they don't always seem to understnad and it gets really complicating but what shes been saying isn't really what I mean she doesn't get or doesn't want to admit to herself what Im saying is true
