A long time ago in a far away place there was a girl, she lived in a small cottege all by herself. She was never lonely, for, the forest kept her company. In her little house there was a little window, that the sun shone through every morning. It was never rainy, cold, or dreary in the forest.
Animals grazed in the bright green grass, and smelled the scent of the dew. The girl liked to watch the deer play in the streams, whipping their
tails and shaking their heads. She would, at times, daydream whistfully.
One morning a handsome young prince came into the forest, he spied the young woman petting a rabbit softly, unaware he was present. He ahemed, and she looked at him after awhile and then turned back to the rabbit. "Hello." he said, trying to look into her deep blue eyes. She didn't answer, he waited for about a minute and yelled, "HELLO!" the animals all turned to look at him and the rabbit scampered away. The girl did not smile, in fact, she did not do anything; she just stared at the spot the rabbit had been. She touched the dented blades of the grass, "You scared my friends..." she said softly, "...why?" He just looked at her angrily, "You wouldn't speak to me!" he stomped his foot. "You sure are a spoiled and impatient prince." she sighed and slowly stood up to face him. "How did you know I was a prince?!" he exclaimed wildly. "The royals usually look the same. I also recognized the symbol on your cape." she said quite patiently, almost as if she were talking to a child.
