I am talking about Scott Westerfeld's Uglies, Pretties, and Specials.
So, what did you think of them?
What coud have made them better?
Do you think he should have continued with the fourth book Extras?

I love this series!! Scott Westerfeld is an amazing writer. Specials was my favorite book out of all four, though. wahmbulance SPOLIERS, PEOPLE!!! wahmbulance It was so sad when Zane died!! I cried my eyes out.
Extras was good too. It wasn’t necessary to add it to the ex-trilogy, but it did answer questions that were…well…unanswered. Like, what happened to the people after the mind rain? That was bugging me for a while, so when the 4th book came out, it answered it for me. It showed how their town went “Brain-Missing” and it also showed the diversity of the people. I mean, Aya speaks Japanese! How cool is that? You would think that a language would die out after such a long time, considering it takes place in the future. Okay, and now I’m rambling so I’m going to stop. sweatdrop

Every time I go to the bookstore I consider getting those books, but I never do..... Maybe I will next time. Then I'll actually read them.

Haha, I actually haven't read extra's.
I was uber sad when Zane died too!!!
I was like, no freaking way!
And you must read them!
They were soo.. good!
Has anyone read Peeps??
I love the out look Scott has on vampires, it is so original!

I love these books.
And Zane. I pretty much refuse to read Specials now, because it depresses me.
Extra's was pretty good. I liked seeing Tally from someone elses POV she seems so much...meaner. Also? The idea of Radical Honesty was awesome. Yay Frizz!

gotta love frizz and his manga eyes. that would be so awesome. slime king and queen xDDD oh my gosh. i want to try mag lev surfing. that sounds soooo funn!!!!! i mean, how scott wrote it when the sly girls did it sounded so cool!!

I think all of the books are amazing but I did not like aya very much... I didnt feel the bond I had with Tally, maybe there will be another book where I will bond with her... or a new person's point of view? That would be pretty amazing. And I agree, Frizz's eyes sounded amazing. But Tally is still my favorite.

I really liked the first one, but after the second one, i decided that it wasn't worth it. They didn't catch my attention all that well.

Ive only read Ulies but the plot is well done and I plan to get on with the series but Im reading 8 books at once right no. sweatdrop So, so far Im to busy.

I havn't read Uglies, but my friend has, and recommended it to me. I havn't gotten around to reading it yet, though.

I liked them! And tell you the truth,I'm not a Zane fangirl, I prefer David. Peeps was pretty good too.
