Plot:
A threat has been issued by Eggman that he has taken control of several Nuclear Missile silos, and already has one of the seven Chaos Emeralds in their possession. If their 'gatherers' can manage to grab most of the Chaos Emeralds, then the gems will be placed in the missiles that will then be launched to create the most catastrophic Nuclear Winter upon impact. When Sonic and co. gets word of this, it's a timed race to grab the Emeralds before the world is doomed.

Weaknesses: Not that agile. He can only fly for a limited amount of time. His magic is only as strong as how mad he happens to be. He is a little short-sighted, and tends to be gullible at times.
Powers (if any): He wields what he calls "Hate Magic". This is his hate and rage made manifest, so he can use it as a weapon. He channels his fury through his mace, and it is released in a black cloud. He can use this to crush, throw, or break objects apart.
Personality: He is a Megalomaniac, which means he considers himself to be a god of sorts, and its impossible to convince him otherwise. He is very violent, but takes violence very seriously. He almost never smiles, laughs, or anything to ruin his sinister looks. He hates humans, Anthros, and basically anything that breathes, for his own reasons. It is because of this that he is extremely proud of his sinister looks and being described as an evil person, he believes it serves to strike fear into his enemies.
Backstory: He lived in a small city during his childhood, with his little brother Twitch and his father Veldroxao. His mother left them soon after Twitch was born, to live with someone else she had fallen in love with. This caused Veldroxao to drink heavily most of the time, and because of this, Flinch and Twitch basically had to raise themselves. While Twitch got into mechanical stuff, Flinch went into a brooding depression, believing it was his fault their mother left them.
He eventually fell in love with a Ferret girl at his school named Umbra. He kept it to himself at first, but finally told her. She acted nice to him at first, but in truth decided to toy with him. She would act like she liked him, getting his hopes up, then break his heart over and over again, and Flinch couldn't bring himself to get over her. He spent a night staring up at the sky, reflecting on what he should do with all the misery in his life. From deep inside his mind, a voice that wasn't his own echoed to him, and it turned all his misery into hate. He knew what path he would take.
The next day, he got a hold of a woodcutting axe, and killed Umbra at their school. In his insane state, he kept her skull as a reminder to always be on the lookout for flaws in himself, and always do what is necessary to keep them out of his way. To escape the police, he left for Station Square, to find a new life, and to engage in "Glorious" bloodshed, he couldn't want to bring havoc to the world that had driven him to be so evil.
His brother, Twitch, followed him in an attempt to stop him and calm him down, but soon found it was useless. Twitch teamed up with two cats, Dash and Solandria, to try and bring Flinch down once and for all, and stop his killings around the city. As the three of them were nearly able to locate Flinch's hidden base, a being that Flinch would later call "The Interloper" got involved, he was the voice in Flinch's head who sent him into his fury in the first place. He brought Flinch to a dark dimension, where he had the ruler of this dimension, and associate of his, give Flinch armor and a mace that would let him channel his rage into actual power.
Flinch has little idea how this power works, and even less idea why The Interloper wanted to help him. He returned home to find that months had passed. The Interloper had convinced Twitch to ally with Flinch, and even helped Twitch rise to the top of a crime syndicate to make him stronger.
As a last parting gift, The Interloper gave Flinch blueprints to what he called "The Eclipser". No one knows its true purpose but Flinch and Twitch, since Twitch is making the device. Neither of them have worked out how it works yet, but they know it will cover the sky in shadow, sending the world into a permanent night, and making it ripe for the shadow dimension to take over. Due to this situation, Flinch took on the title "Scourge of the Final Sunset".
All they need to do to activate it, is collect the Chaos Emeralds, so Flinch has set to doing this with an intense determination. He is prepared to do anything at all to turn the world into the pitch black "paradise" he wants it to be.
Other: Speaks in a light German accent. As his name implies, he Flinches extremely easily.
