Welcome all you good little boys and girls! I am Headmaster Metos, and I am taking over the Classroom forum! pirate Yeah, Yeah, fine, you can still call me Zenai, even though Annetia officially changed my title.
Alright! Time for me to share my diabolical plot with you! Every story needs a good plot, right? Well, don't get to excited. I'm no 'professional' writer. I don't have anything published yet. What I DO have is a really great Advanced Creative Fiction Writing college level class. Along with that I have a great book on writing that serves as our textbook for the class. In short, most things I but up here will be ripped from my class room. But if it's helping me, I'm sure it can help you. It's not like it's rocket science stuff that's hard to understand. If there are terms used that you don't get, feel free to ask me what the heck I'm talking about.
Everything I post here will be advice that you can either take to heart or ignore completely. I'm not trying to force you to change how you write. But my sources are experienced. My teacher has been writing for years and has published several short stories. The authors of the writing book I'll use are very experienced editors who have looked over many a manuscript, both good and bad. I'll be sharing thing I think will be beneficial to any writer at any level and I hope it will help you all.
My goal is to posts 'lessons' where I summarize a chapter of the book give exercises for you all to try. I'll critique and answer questions to the best of my ability. I'll probably also post some scanned images of different handouts I've received that I think might be useful. Please note, however, that I am a very lazy person. I have no idea how often I'll be posting things. Each lesson would take a lot of time and effort on my part, but I will do my best.
I also believe an original concept for this Forum was to get help on homework, such as reports and the like. Feel free to post that here. I'll look over it and help you out the best I can and hopefully everyone else will as well.
