exclaim Kaila is originally the innocent turned villain of my Kingdom Hearts manga (which is still ongoing and I plan to one day put up in the internet.....) Memory of Origin.
exclaim I had based her clothes off a character in Shaman King originally until my cousin stole my design and thus almost got me in trouble with my aunt and uncle, so a wardrobe change came to order. I mixed her old design with elements from Sora's outfits in both part 1 and 2.
exclaim Kaila was originally named Krystal, and was a pirate with an entirely different design but still silver haired. She had wings and led a crew of pirate heartless on a ship pretty much out of Treasure Planet.
exclaim Originally was supposed to end up with Riku since I saw poor Riku all alone. Her design began to change ever since I began to have dreams of the whole storyline. It went on for about two to three months and after much re-making Kaila came around. IT would take me another week to name her. (Which came about after staying a month at Orlando ahaha...)

In my manga, she has dreams of a world called the World of Shadows. She is "born" with a dark heart, when little she used to tell her older brother,Riku, that the shadows would be "looking" or "talking" to her.Chaos was actually one of the shadows that she befriended and had named Raziel.
Kaila eventually reaches the same amount of power her "brother" had before with the darkness, but having been born with a dark heart she can freely wield it but not without going through quite a bit of pain for her "initiation." She becomes the villain of my manga and sort of re-plays the events of KH1 with it's own twist to it.
Not spoiling much eventually she returns to being good but is cursed to forever use darkness since she grew so used to it and will be weak without it.

arrow Kaila starts going to the darkside out of jealousy towards the bond Sora and Kairi have. Not understanding everything the two have been through, Kaila tries to get Sora to start liking her, which she succeeds at, but Sora's feelings towards Kairi are stronger than that towards Kaila.
This, angers Kaila.....
ALOT.
She starts slowly turning bad and Maleficent doesn't make it any better, she actually speeds it up.
Kaila hears a voice from a being called Origin, I wont say much on that creature because it spoils the idea of the story but lets just say it lives in the core of the World of Shadows AND its a dark being.
Thats it, I dont want to spoil too much this is more of a "here understand this character better!" kind of thing.
