But I have learned that the chances I take
Are always worth being taken.

Only to realize I was always mistaken.

Even if I would be denied felicity,
I didn't want to cause pain.

I used to sedate passion and electricity;
I thought it would keep me sane.

Yet I have learned the way you must learn;
If you surpress emotions, you only become mad;
Your own feelings should be exposed,
And your own emotions are essential.

Putting yourself aside for others is always bad;
You cannot keep your mind closed,
And never negate the potential.

I have learned the way you must learn,
That if you feel something special, don't let it slip away,
Because you will never know if that feeling could grow,
And when feelings are lost, they cannot always be returned.

You cannot wait forever because life will not continue to stay;
Sometimes you guess because you will not always know;
But only through experience can the lesson truly be learned.
