A vibrant and energetic mining town that is blessed with a precious natural resource. There is a Gym where mine workers take breaks in between their exhausting work shifts. also a museum that specializes in exhibits related to the town's coal mine the coal mine has huge deposits of coal still sleeping underneath the ground. The entrance to the Oreburgh coal mine is here.

"Right here buddy. I finished battling the gym leader already. He's a push over. Nothing you can't handle. What took you so long?"

((Roark has a Geodude Lvl. 12, an Onix Lvl. 12, and a Cranidos Lvl. 14))

"Really? Well, hurry up and beat this gym leader like you beat them and you'll get your first badge."

Jason walked up to Roark "I'm going to defeat you."
"Oh really? So we have a challenge." Roark replied.
"Ya I only have 2 Poke'mon but use as many as you have." Jason said
"Ok Go Geodude." Geodude came out
"Go Cyndaquil." Cyndaquil came out.
"This should be easy." Roark laughed "A Fire verus Rock/Ground I'll win for sure."
"Haha we'll see Cyndaquil quil use Smokescreen."
Cyndaquil use smokescreen making the room fill with Black Smoke.
"*Cough* *Cough* Ok Geodude *Cough* *Cough* Use Tackle."
Geodude used Tackle but missed and hit the stone wall on the other side.
"Now Cyndaquil use Ember."
Cynadquil used Ember and it burnt Geodude.
Geodude Fainted.
"Good Job Cynadquil."Jason said
"Now for my next Poke'mon. Go Onix." Onix came out. "Use Bind."
Onix caught Cyndaquil and used Bind on him.
Cyndaquil fainted.
"Hahaha it's over now." Roark said
"You wait and see. I have a Poke'mon from the Greatest Trainer I've seen so Far. Umm..... I forgot his Name but He gave this Poke'mon to me to Beat you so I can't lose." Jason yelled "Go Squirtle." Squirtle came out.
"Oh a Water type this could get tough. Onix Hurry and use Slam."
Onix used slam on Squirtle.
"Squirtle are you ok?" Squirtle looked at him and nodded." Ok good. Use Water Gun please."
Squirtle use Water Gun
Onix Fainted
"Wow that was good. Now go my best Poke'mon Cranidos." Cranidos came out. "Use Rock Tomb."
"Squirtle Use Water Gun Hurry."
They bith used their moves at the same time and both Poke'mon went down together.
"Wow I guess it's a tie." Roark laughed "I've never had one of those before."
"Does that mean I still get the Badge?" Jason asked
"Nope you only get it if you won." He said nd then his eyes turned huge. Squirtle started pulsing with a bright light. Squirtle's whole body began to become the light as they watched in amazement. Squirtle began to change while in the light. The light left Squirtle to reveal....
"Wartortle!!!!." Wartortle yelled.
"Wow I guess you won after all. Here's your badge good job kid." Roark said.
Jason smiled and yelled "Viva did you see that I won and Squirtle evovled. I have a Wartortle now. This is awesome." He ran and stood bye Viva.

*Enter emo to oreburgh city*

*Emo huffs and puffs as the sun rises behind him, exhausted he falls flat on his face*

Emo: Man I cant believe that I made it here in one trip without any resting.

*Emo raises his face from the dirt to see a pokemon center*

Emo: I've never been more happy to see a pokemon center

*emo made his way to the pokemon center, as the doors slid open a crowd of people flew out of the center crushing him as they passed*

Emo: OwWw that hurt...

*Emo raised himself to see two shady people in purple and silver uniforms standing in front of nurse joy*

*a guy and girl the guy proceeded to interogate nurse joy*

Galatic Grunt 1: Come now nurse joy, just hand over your pokemon and you dont get hurt. You seen how those other trainers ran without a second thought, they know better.

*the female grunt simply laughed*

Nurse Joy: No way, I wont, I wont hand over these pokemon.

*the male grunt drew a pokeball from his waist and pinched it, increasing its size*

Galatic Grunt 1: You asked for it!!

*the grunt tossed his Pokeball as the girl with him did the same*

*the combined light was blinding when it cleared, there stood a sandslash and teddyursa*

*Emo rushed to nurse joy's aid standing between the pokemon and her*

Emo: If its a battle you want you've found it punks!!

*the grunts laughed*

*Emo pulled his two pokeballs from his waist, and tossed them*

Emo: C'mon out Geodude and Trecko!!

*the two pokemon appeared battle ready*

Galatic Grunt 2: Those are some preety decent pokemon, were gonna enjoy stealing them from you. Destroy that kid!!

*the teddyursa charged first at geodude*

Galatic Grunt 1: Sandslash use furycutter on that kids trecko.

*the sandslash went flying at trecko with a series of vicious swipes*

Emo: Trecko dodge and use pound

*trecko managed to dodge the first two as he swung at the sandslash, teddyursa side blinded him with a dizzy punch*

*the grunt female laughed*

Galatic Grunt 2: You forget about me kid?

Emo: No I was just waiting for that, Geodude sesmic toss on teddyursa while its not looking.

*Geodude gripped teddyursa tightly and flew into the air and with all its might tossed teddyursa flying towards the ground*

*sandslash looking on and forgetting about trecko, trecko sneaks in a pound of his own knocking sandslash to the ground*

Emo: Nice one trecko!!

*teddyursa hits the ground hard unconcious, the female grunt returns him*

Galatic Grunt 2: jerk!, stupid hurry up and finish this kid!!

Galatic Grunt 1: I'm trying!!, Sandslash use Sand attack!!

*sand goes flying and lands in trecko's eyes*

Emo: Damn, Trecko shake it off!!

*trecko raked at his eyes trying to rid them of the sand*

Galatic Grunt 1: Now use DIG on Geodude!!

*the sandslash buried into the ground*

Emo: Geodude!!, Brace yourself!!

*the sandslash came up right underneath geodude knocking him out cold*

Emo: Damn it, Return!!. Trecko you okay buddy?!?

*trecko nodded though it was clear to see he wasnt at full strength*

Galatic Grunt 1: Your times up kid!, sandslash fury cutter one more time!!

*the sandslash again lunged at trecko*

*trecko took a direct hit before emo had time to react which sent him flying though somehow he landed on his feet, the sandslash continued to charge*

Emo: QUICK!! use absorb!!!

*The sandslash made contact with trecko only to be latched onto*

Emo: ITS OVER FINISH IT!!!

Galatic Grunt 1: QUICK SHAKE IT OFF!!

*the sandslash tried despreatly but to no prevail as he was engulfed in trecko's absorbtion and had all his energy sucked from him, the light evaporated and sandslash collapsed*

Emo: Looks like you lost.

*emo walked over to the male Galatic grunt who was now on his own because his partner left somewhere in the blinding light of treckos absorbtion*

*the male grunt fell to his knees*

Galatic Grunt 1: Please Show mercy!

*emo backhands the grunt and picks up sandslashes pokeball and withdraws it*

Emo: I'm freeing your pokemon from your evil ways, its mine now.

Galactic Grunt 1: PlEASE NO, I BEG YOU!!!

*emo placed the pokeball on his waist as officer jenny busted through the door of the pokemon center*

Emo:Officer Jenny I'm glad you could make it. I managed to hold this one but his partner booked

*officer jenny lifted the grunt and placed him in cuffs*

Officer jenny: Dont worry we caught her on the way here, we just needed this little creep.

*she saluted emo*

Officer Jenny: Thank you for your patronage young man.

*she carried the grunt out of the center and out of sight, Nurse Joy hugged emo and he blushed deeply*

Nurse Joy: Thank you so much!!

Emo: No problem nurse joy

*she released him and bowed*

Nurse Joy: Is there anything I can do to repay you?

*emo smiled and handed her his three pokemon*

Emo: could you heal my pokemon for me?, Oh and I was wondering do you have a place I can stay?

*she smiled warmly*

Nurse Joy: Certainly and yes we have a spare room here in the center.

*she waved emo to follow as she placed his pokeballs into a large machine that resembled a computer tower, she closed a glass window over them making it look like a oven, she then showed him to his room where he walked to his bed and collapsed. Nurse joy smiled as she closed the door and left the room*

Inuki had just gotten to the oreburgh city, it was so busy with the mine. she walked up to the gym were she saw two boys there, she walked up closer to the both of them, she smiled hello, i'm Inuki. i'm going to try and win my first badge. she said as she looked at the both of them.

Jason left the town to find his way to the next gym

Inuki looked as she saw the one trainer pass by her and another coming towards the gym.

Hello i'm Emo he said greeting her and the other trainer standing there
