Ah well, in attempts to get this forum bubbling with activity, let's do some icebreaker questions xD! <3
We all started somewhere with our love of cosplay, whether it was that one scrappy costume from halloween or that last minute outfit for a con you just decided to go to... all of us had humble beginnings.
So, what was your first cosplay?
Where'd you wear it to?
Any pictures to share with us all?
Success or Failure?

I'll start then:
My first cosplay was Hinamori Momo from BLEACH and I debuted it at AX '06 for my first con.
It was kind of gimpy since it was handsewn, but making something with my own hands made me really proud! And the pictures, man, I'm such an evil little narcissist, I just loved having my picture taken xD. And the occasional glomp was sweet too <3.

All in all, it was a blast, and I've loved cosplaying ever since.

Wow! I must say, that's an excellent cosplay for a first attempt! =O
My first real cosplay was Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho.)
I wore it to the mall on Halloween about two years ago, I think.
The costume itself was pretty easy to put together. A little too easy, though.
I didn't get any pictures of myself that night but I had so much fun cosplaying! At least one of my friends knew who I was. ^^

Success or Failure?
Success because I got fangilrs, and made loads of friends and had lots and lots of fun
Failure because the wig SUCKED and I couldn't make my wings in time.

my 1st cosplay attempt was not even Anime it was Hulk Hogan of all things which I debuted at AX 2005. my 1st actual anime cosplay was at AniMagic I dressed up as a Racoon City Police SWAT team from Resident Evil

Halloween '04 was when i first debuted it, i tried making other cosplay before that year but i never finished them so that's why Yuna would have to be my first ever.

My first cosplay was Tohru Honda! I wore it to Anime Iowa '06. I have a picture! : [ x] I'd say it was a success! People seemed to like it. But I did NOT make this. 3nodding

Where'd you wear it to? It was to a Halloween party, back in 2005 I think, by a group called Fandemonium here.
Any pictures to share with us all? Sadly no... Though I plan to cosplay him again and I might have pictures then.
Success or Failure? It wasn't the greatest, but we only worked on it for a day, so yea...

My first cosplay was Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto
I wore it at FanExpo Canada '07
I don't have any pictures since no one bought a camera....
The costume was waaay too big for me, but the security gaurd thought I was a guy though!
