I think the island as a whole is ignorant of Gaia's existence.
Where would the Lost Children get their clothes from?

Gaia is not known to the Lost Children until the arrival of two scientists (stay tuned for that).
Children are either born with their clothes, as happens in the Patch rather often, or make them from plants fibers like... if you've ever seen certain types of palm, they have kind of a rough brown burlap cloth stuff sometimes, and there are other Neverland plants good for clothingmaking! Definitely have plenty of rope and plenty of cloth fibers that are like string.
Feel free to pitch suggestions for plants and stuff for the setting. smile

If you spend too much time on character creation, you'll actually only hurt yourself, because you'll lose time you could be spending roleplaying instead!

Are we allowed to enter pre-existing Feien? Or do they have to be completely made up as well? And when it says that priority is given to owners of existing Feien, does that mean we have a shot at one of the 'restricted' job categories? The idea I'm working on is my Feien Athansia [ link], as a council member. Her spells would be Flight, Sense Motive, Charm Animal, Super Shout, and Healing. All fairly useful for a politician, no? I'd have Bonus Pack B, and I'd choose a Bird of Paradise, or Parrot or something equally colorful. Let me know if I can get a yay, or nay to this before I start fleshing it out please??

If you want one of Em's free and guaranteed slots, you must enter with an existing feien. If you want to create a totally new feien, you will not be guaranteed a slot or have a free slot and will be judged as every other entrant. It's your choice whether to take that risk or not.
All restricted character occupations will be judged on a case-by-case basis. You'll have to propose a concept before judgment can be made.
I'm not entirely sure Charm Animal would be useful for a politician... it only applies to basic-intelligence animals, not other feien. Spell descriptions are in the works.

i was wondering about the feien part too, since i want Bavaria in as a crafter person. you didn't have it on the form submission, so can we list what spells for them and what bonus pack we want?
and if i went for pack c for her, the artifact would help her with building, correct? (i'm trying to decide between A and C. )

Er, not totally sure what your question is, what isn't on the form submission? You just pick your spells from the list given.
The artifact is based on your character concept, as stated.

Also, this is probably a stupid question, but are we supposed to try and work our established character history into the Neverland stuff? Or just use our established Feien as a starting point for a new Neverland history?
