A new guild has arisen and wishes to make itself known. To celebrate the guild's opening Pokemon Archive will be holding a Championship Tournament. Prizes will be offered to the First, second, and third place winners.
The tournament will have alternating rules so that each round is different. Trainers will have the perfect opertunity to test their skills against others. Three rules, however, will remain constant throughout the entire tournament.
1. Legendaries and Ubers are not allowed.
2. Hacked pokemon are banned. Which includes impossible stats, movesets, and abilities.
3. Species clause, OHKO clause, Evasion clause, and Sleep clause.
As with anything else, if you violate the rules you will be disqualified.
The peliminaries of this tournament is an Inspection battle. You must choose the team you wish to enter and battle a Tournament Moderator's "Inspection" team. You do not have to win the battle, but do have to prove your skills in order to perticipate in the tournament.
(Note: The "Inspection" teams will not be top notch but will be designed to test competitors.)
On top of that, battles will be abled to be posted in the Stadium for others to witness. Posting battles will be encouraged but are not required in order to be in the tournament.. This is one tournament you don't have to be a part of to enjoy.

What kind of alternating rules are we talking here?

Like, for example, first round is Singles 6vs6, second is Double Battle 6vs6, Third Singles 4vs4, etc. Each round will be different. The ones posted above are permanent throughout the whole tournament.

Seems interesting. Does this tournament have a deadline to sign up? I'm working on a new team right now, though don't want to commit to anything just yet unless I know I can finish before the deadline.

The original deadline is March 1st, but, that can change if I get enough interest flowing into the tournament.

The tournament will begin shortly. Only a few weeks left before things open up. A prize is being gathered and it is guaranteed to be worth the trouble. A bred pokemon of choice may also be added. So, sign-up before the doors close on March 1st to win the prize and glory. PS: Even if you do not wish to enter the tournament, you can still witness the fights by going to The Pokemon Archive Guild: The Lost Chapters. Join up and have a seat in the colossuem. Play-by-plays of the battles will be posted there.

Due to tournament issues, the inspection test will be elimiated. For the remander of sign-ups all entries will gain free passage to the main event. On March 1st sign-ups will be closed and a starting roster will be drawn.
Spectators are still welcome to witness battle play-by-plays at the Colosseum. For more information PM me.

Just a reminder, the dealine for Sign-ups is March 1st. I will be closing the sign-ups soon and will start the tournament. Even if you do not wish to perticipate, you may still watch the fights by going to The Pokemon Archive Guild: The lost chapters and enter the Colosseum.
