Chakra battle system
Hello all welcome to the chakra battle system this is where you will learn to fight so lets start things off by meeting Karu. Hello Karu!
Karu: Go to hell.
... Right. Anywho, for this demonstration, these are Karu's stats:
cp:15 str:15 def:15 spd:15 int:15 np:15 tp:15
Chakra points- or CP are how much chakra your rpc has every jutsu you use will use some amount of chakra. Karu has 15 cp meaning he can only use 14 of his chakra points because chakra is life; if you loose all your chakra you die. Also if your chakra drops below 5 you get dizzy and if its at 1 you pass out high ranking ninjas wont pass out when reaching 1 chakra but will not be able to fight.
Strength points: or STR are how strong physically your rpc is these points are normally used in hand to hand fighting and Taijutsu. Here is how they work, Karu has 15 strength meaning if he where to get in a tugowar contest with some one that has 20 strength he would loose. The higher your str are the more physical damage you can cause to an enemy.
Defensive points- or DEF are the points used when blocking an attack the higher the points the less damage your rpc will take. Karu has 15 def points so if someone with 6 str attacks Bob and he blocks he will take no damage. But if someone with 16 str attacks him he will take damage but not a lot. Next is guard break when someones str is double or more than some ones def its called guard break. If Karu were to block an attack of someones whose atk is 30(or more) then the hit would be so strong that it would smash his defenses causing him major damage.
Speed points- or SPD are how fast your rpc is these can be used to run circles around the enemy or to run for your life. Karu's spd is 15 meaning he can out run any one below that speed but cant keep up with anyone higher than that speed. Next up is dodge now you cant dodge everything but it helps to not get hit allot, since Bobs spd is 15 he has a higher rate of dodging than some one with 6. But if someone has a higher speed than his like 18 he can hit him easier.
Intelligence points- or INT are how smart you rpc is, using these you can make up complex plans and have a better sense of genjutsu. Depending on how high this is determines if an enemy is hit by a genjutsu if Karu's int is 15 and some one casts a genjutsu and their int is higher than Karu's then the gentjutsu will work on them. Next is mind break to do a mind break is when some one tries to use genjutsu on you and your int is double or more there int, say Fujin tries to use a genjutsu on Karu, Terra's int is 6 and Bobs int is 15 which is 3 points higher than double Fujin's int so not only does the genjutsu not work but it causes the caster great mental damage and chakra points lost from casting the genjutsu
Ninja points- or NP are how easily your rpc can learn ninjutsu and how powerful your npc's ninjutsu are. the higher the points the stronger your ninjutsu as well as how good you are at leaning ninjutsu
Taijutsu points- or TP is how easily and how strong(+strength) your Taijutsu is. the higher the points the better you are with Taijutsu. If your TP is higher than you opponent's, then if they try to use Taijutsu on you you can retaliate with more taijutsu and overpower them.

All about Chakra
Chakra is the combination of the energies of all the cells in your body (physical) with the constant energy given off by your soul (spiritual). Chakra is also your life-force; thus, if you run out of chakra... you die.
Everyone has the following basic skills, regardless of bloodlines or whatever.
Water Walking - This skill is most commonly seen. It allows you to walk on water by focusing a dynamic flow of chakra to your feet. This is also why we have reason to believe that Jesus was in fact a ninja. 1 CP per post
Tree Climbing - By focusing an even amount of chakra to your hands and feet, you can walk up walls, trees, and even on ceilings. With this skill you're stickier than a certain web-slinging superhero... However, take note that the laws of gravity still apply. If for any reason this flow of chakra is interrupted... Splat! 1 CP per post
Burst - Basically, by focusing your chakra into a specific part of your body, you can boost one of your attributes (NOT CP) by a certain amount. The problem being that this only lasts for one turn, so it's very inefficient. X CP spent = X points added to that stat.
Ways to regain Chakra
Once you're low on chakra, things get very bad for you. However, have no fear! There are ways to regain chakra!
Eating - Nothing like some good food... Just stay out of the way if you see an Akimichi. Anyway, there are a few ways to get food. Shops - These are the best. If you order food from a Ramen stand or a resstaurant, you get a great meal, as well as 50% of your maximum CP restored. Note you cannot exceed your maximum in this way. Hunting/Foraging - Sometimes a ninja just can't waltz into the nearest shop and order whatever. In this case, it's best to just grab the nearest bunnyrabbit/snake/fruit/bird and chow down. Here's where all that time playing Snake Eater comes in handy. Eating this kind of thing restores 25% of your max CP. Again, you can't exceed your maximum.
Sleeping - Anime/Video Game rule # 27: Sleep heals everything. This is really the best way to restore Chakra, but it leaves you vulnerable. There are a few ways to do this: Apartment/Mansion/hotel - Every character automatically has a room in the apartment complex in their village. Some clans (like the Hyuuga, the Kaguya, and the Mitsude) are so rich they even have their own mansions for your character to go, though these places are reserved for clan members ONLY unless one has specifically invited you in. There are also hotels you can stay in. Sleeping in one of these automatically restores your chakra back to full. Napping - If you can't stop in a hotel or are nowhere near your home, you can just flop down on the nearest patch of soft grass. This automatically restores 50% of your chakra. Meditation - If you don't feel like sleeping (or if you can't, as a stipulation of a bloodline or if you have the Ichibi), you can always sit and meditate. You're slightly more alert than sleeping, but as a result you don't get as much chakra back. For normal characters, 25% of your CP will be restored. For those other characters that CAN'T sleep, they get 75% of their CP back.

Stats
genin:almost every one starts out as a genin fresh out of the academy so they may choice 1 of three starting sets. Genin can use up to C-Rank Jutsus, and require hand-seals. Highly advanced Genin might know one or two B-Ranks, usually to do with a bloodline.
Ninjutsu type-strong in ninjutsu but weak in taijutsu cp:40 str:10 def:10 spd:10 int:10 np:15 tp:5
Genjutsu type-smart in genjutsu but weaker in ninjutsu cp:40 str:10 def:10 spd:10 int:15 np:5 tp:10
Taijutsu type-strong in taijutsu but lacking in genjutsu cp:40 str:10 def:10 spd:10 int:5 np:10 tp:15
E-point- are special stats rewarded to a ninja that has fought a tuff battle or has gone through a ton of training if a mod believes you did a good job they shall give you an E-point. E-points count as 1 point and can be placed anywhere the ninja would like. you can gain 15 E-points from a mod at one time but note that it is rare to get E-points and don't even try to beg for them. Each genin starts with 5 E-points to place where they want and will gain more upon reaching a higher rank.
Chuunin:after passing the chuunin exam you will become a chuunin and your stats will gain a boost, what ever your current stats are will have 20 added to them as well as 5 more E-points to place where you want. There is one other way to become a chuunin: If your genin successfully completes an A-Rank or higher mission without one of his teammates getting killed, he MIGHT be recommended for immediate promotion to Chuunin, but this is RARE. Chuunin can use up to B-Rank jutsus, you may have ONE A-Rank you can use.
cp:+20 str:+20 def:+20 spd:+20 int:+20 np:+20 tp:+20 E-points=5
special jounin: Special Jounins are Chuunin that have acheived Jounin-level skills in a particular area. Whatever your starting affinity was (Ninjutsu, genjutsu or taijutsu), once you are a Chuunin and that stat (NP, INT, TP) reaches 75 or higher, you will be labelled as a Special Jounin and you will be able to use A-Rank jutsus in that area ONLY.
cp:+30 str:+30 def:+30 spd:+30 int:+30 np:+30 tp:+30 E-points=5
Jounin: To become a jounin, you must have acheived the rank of Special Jounin already. You must challenge either your Sensei or another Jounin in the village and defeat them in a one-on-one duel (not to the death). Before you do this, PM your sensei and Kage to let them know your intentions. Jounins can use A-Rank jutsus, and may have ONE S-Rank as their trump card (Like Gai's Morning Peacock).
cp:+40 str:+40 def:+40 spd:+40 int:+40 np:+40 tp:+40 E-points=5
AFTER JOUNIN Once you become a jounin, there are three tracks you can follow, all of which revolve around your completed missions.
Medical-nin: Medic-nins are healing specialists. To become one, you must already be a jounin and know the Mystical Hands technique (Shousen no Jutsu), as well as completed at least one A-Rank mission where you used your skills on an injured teammate. Once these prerequisites are met, PM your kage to apply. Medic-nins are obligated to heal others, and may be called upon at any time to work in one of the hospitals.
cp:+40 str:+20 def:+20 spd:+20 int:+40 np:+40 tp:+20 E-points=5
hunter-nin: Hunter-nin are the village's police force; they specialize in assassinations. To become one, you must already be a jounin and have completed at least one A-Rank assassination-type mission. PM your kage. Hunters are responsible for going after rouge ninja, and may be called upon to take out any missing-nins.
cp:+40 str:+20 def:+20 spd:+20 int:+20 np:+40 tp:+40 E-points=5
Elite Jounin: These are the ninjas that can teach genin teams. To become one, you must already be a Jounin and have completed at least one A-Rank mission where you acted as a team leader. Once this is done, PM your kage. Elite Jounin may be assigned to a genin team at any time. Once this happens, you are RESPONSIBLE for your genin. Until they become Jounins, they are in YOUR charge, and you have to act as a role model for them. Help them train, teach them new jutsus, all that good stuff.
cp:+20 str:+20 def:+20 spd:+20 int:+40 np:+40 tp:+40 E-points=5
ANBU: ANBU are the elite of the elite. They are the guys the villages send in when they have no other options. ANBU are cold, efficient, and are among the best at everything they do. To become one, you must have already completed one S-Rank mission in your specialty area and have outstanding skills in one thing or another. If you think you have what it takes, PM your kage and they will review your application. If you are accepted, one of your responsibilities is to guard the Kage, with your LIFE. ANBU are also supposed to be ready at any second to take any mission, and will generally be placed in five-man cells with other ANBU, or with jounins as a squad leader. ANBU can also learn S-Rank jutsus.
cp:+60 str:+60 def:+60 spd:+60 int:+60 np:+60 tp:+60 E-points=10
Sannin: These really are the best of the best. Sannin are POWERFUL ninjas, masters of their trade, and ungodly powerful besides. There are several requirements for this. One, Every person in your Genin team must have already progressed to at least jounin. Two, they must have beyond-normal skills in their area of expertise, and must have created their own unique ace-in-the-hole jutsu (for example, Jiraiya had the Rasengan, Tsunade had her insane strength, and Orochimaru had his immortality jutsu). Three, your team must have done something of great benefit to the village. Four, you must be recommended by a kage to be considered a Sannin team. There will only ever be one team of Sannin in a village, but every village might not have a team of Sannin.
cp:+90 str:+90 def:+90 spd:+90 int:+90 np:+90 tp:+90 E-points=20
kage: You'll be very lucky indeed to become one of these. Your character must be recognized as the strongest person in the village, they must have STARTED OUT in the village, and they must not have EVER betrayed the village. This means Missing-nins cannot ever become Kages. In addition, there must be an opening for a new Kage. Also, you must be recommended by a crew member who thinks you are kage material. DO NOT PM US ASKING TO BECOME A KAGE. THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST WAY TO ENSURE YOU WILL NOT BECOME ONE. As a member of the guild, you should follow the rules and help the mods out. If you become kage, you'll be promoted to crew, and you are expected to be a responsible crew member.
cp:+100 str:+100 def:+100 spd:+100 int:+100 np:+100 tp:+100 E-points=0

CHAKRA REALMS
There are three 'realms' of chakra.
'True' Chakra
This is the realm that the average ninja will be able to use. This includes the vast majority of all jutsus, including most bloodlines. There are two 'subgroups' of this. True Chakra is neither inferior nor superior to Holy or Dark Chakra.
Elemental Chakra: Anything that has to do with the seven elements. (Lightning, Water, Wind, Earth, Fire, Wood, and Ice.) A more in-depth explanation can be found in the thread concerning the elementl wheel.
Pure Chakra: The majority of all basic skills and most kekkei-genkai fall under this. For example, the Nara clan uses Pure Chakra to control their shadows; they do not have 'shadow' chakra. Another bloodline example is the Mitsude Bloodline; they focus their chakra through Ley Lines in order to manipulate matter around them.
'Holy' Chakra
Holy chakra is in short, chakra that is used with pure intentions to protect others, never to cause harm in cold blood. This chakra realm is the rarest of the three, because it requires a very specific precondition: The user must have a divine blessing upon them (as seen in the Utami Demon-Hunter Clan in Rain), or the user must have what qualifies as an untainted soul. When this occurs, the ninja in question may gain incredible spiritual powers, and their natural chakra will turn white. Holy Chakra is vastly superior to Dark Chakra; in fact some would argue that Holy Chakra was created with the specific purpose of eliminating the Darkness... Note: Holy Chakra gained through Spiritual Purity is effective against ALL Dark Chakra, while Holy Chakra gained through a Divine Blessing may only work against a specific type and in some cases is not permanent.
'Dark' Chakra
This realm of chakra is oft associated with greed and lust for power. Dark Chakra will often involve very large boosts of energy, however it corrodes the body and soul, and often results in the eventual death of the user. There are different sub-forms for this, and there are different ways of gaining dark chakra.
Tainted Chakra: This is the lesser of the two forms, and is often gained from the user's heart and soul turning to darkness or trading their soul for immortality of some sort. (For example, Orochimaru and Hidan would fit into this group because they have either traded their soul to remain eternally youthful (in Hidan's case, his pact with Jashin is what makes him unable to be killed) or have killed or sacrificed others for this immortality (in the case of Orochimaru's soul-transfer jutsu or Madara's Ultimate Mangekyou which resulted from him killing his best friend and brother). Users of Curse Seals also fall into this category. The 'tainted' label can also apply to specific jutsus. Certain necromancy jutsus (such as Orochimaru's Edo Tensei or the Full Release Form of the Legendary Blade Eimin, as well as the Sandaime Hokage's Death Seal Shinigami thing or other jutsus that involve the ripping/destroying of souls) are tainted in nature, though their users may not be. A 100% effective way to determine if a person's chakra is tainted is to see if it has become visible and turned Black.
Infernal or Demonic Chakra: Perhaps the rarest of all. Infernal Chakra has to have a Demon as its source. Infernal Blessings may grant temporary use of Demonic Chakra, but these wear off over time. But first, perhaps a more clear definition of 'Demon'. A demon is formed when a Human Being is corrupted by Tainted Chakra to such a massive extent that it warps their appearance and soul into the cruelest mockery of what it once was. A lesser example is the demon summonings of the Raninda Clan in Leaf. The Tailed Beasts 1-7, who were transformed by the evil of the Yamata no Orochi, also fall under this. The Kyuubi no Youko is actually a combination of an already severely-corrupted human who was transformed by the Yamata no Orochi. Perhaps the most extreme example of Demonic Corruption is the being Ultima, who was unable to let go of his hatred for humanity even after death, and thus over a period of thousands of years his hatred became so powerul he became the first human in history to ever gain the raw power of a Tailed Beast under his own steam. (The Yamata no Orochi was also spawned in such a way; though its original form was not originally human but the creation of a god.)
On the subject of Infernal Blessings: It is possible for a demon of sufficient strength to bestow its power upon a human, granting said human use of a portion of its power. A demon can be forced into this by being sealed into a Jinchuuriki, or when unsealed a demon can offer its Blessing upon an existing human, granting a fraction its abilities to that person.
