Lesson 1: Making a Profile

Here is the basic outline of a profile:

user name sad your user name duh) - Obvious enough.
name sad your character's name)- Your character's name. Try to make it Japanese-sounding in origin. It screws up the 'flow' when you've got names like Hiruko, Kasumi, and Jigumo and then suddenly OMG HEATHER MACBETH!111! If you don't know what to use, try this.
age sad how old your character is) - Remember, you're starting off as a genin. Nothing under the age of 10. If you're a genin, you need to stay under the age of 18.
Rank sad will be genin for all until you advance) - Not too difficult. Unless you're told you can make a Jounin or whatever, stick with Genin.
village sad village you want into) - Pick one of the listed villages.
personality sad your rp's personality) - How does your character act around others? Just give others an idea of how your character will react if they randomly attack/glomp him/her.
blood line/clan sad if any and can only have same blood line as those in your village) - You don't have to have a bloodline, but you have to pick one in your village and it has to have at least one slot left.
elemental chakra 1 sad your basic element most of your jutsu will be based of this element) - This is your elemental affinity. Unless you have a bloodline ability that allows you to learn other jutsus, you will not be able to learn any jutsus out ofyour affinity.
elemental chakra 2 sad your second element can only be unlocked by junin and up so until then leave this blank or none) - Once you reach jounin, you'll be able to use jutsus of a second element.
image or/and description sad pic of you or a written description or both) - This is required; we need to know what your character looks like. If you don't have a picture, type it out.
headband placement sad where on you is your headband) - Where do you wear it? Nowhere extremely vulgar, please.
weapon sad any none basic weapon) - Anything other than basic ninja equipment. Nothing indestructible, godmoded, etc. unless you have permission to do it.
background info sad anything about there past) - Be creative. We can't ALL be angsty orphans with a tragic past.
other sad any other info you want to add) - anything else. NPC's that hang around, miscellaneous info. If your character has a demon or is a missing-nin this is what it needs to go in.
status sad almost every one starts out as a genin fresh out of the academy so they may choice 1 of three starting sets)

Ninjutsu type-strong in ninjutsu but weak in taijutsu

jutsu sad all your jutsu/put the jutsu's rank infront of it so we no its in your range if you are unsure check the chakra library) - if you have a jutsu outside your rank in your profile, kindly put a strikethrough through it so we know you can't use it.


Once this is done, PM it to your village's kage and they will approve it.

Lesson 3: Elemental Combat

Alright for this demonstration we're going to bring in two of our favorite ninja.

Everyone, meet Jay and Silent Bob.

Jay's stats:
CP: 120
str: 40
def: 50
spd: 80
int: 30
np: 70
tp: 45

Silent Bob's Stats:
CP: 90
str: 60
def: 70
spd: 50
int: 20
np: 40
tp: 65

Jay charges up a Chidori and rushes SB.

Now, there are a few things Silent Bob can do here. He can:
1. counter-attack
2. defend
3. dodge

Scenario 1-A:
Silent Bob retaliates with Goukakyuu no Jutsu.
Since Jay's NP is 70 while SB's NP is 40, Jay can break the attack and kill SB with Chidori.

Scenario 1-B:
Silent Bob charges up a Rasenshuriken and counters.
Since Jay's NP is 70 while SB's NP is 40, ordinarily Jay would pwn Silent Bob. However, since Lightning is weak against Wind, Silent Bob's NP is treated as double, making it 80. That's enough for Silent Bob to break Jay's attack!

Scenario 2-A:
Silent Bob creates an Earth-Style Wall to block.
Because Silent Bob's DEF and Jay's NP are equal, ordinarily the attacks would destroy each other.
But wait! Lightning is strong against Earth! So that means Jay's NP becomes 140! Thus, the wall is destroyed and Silent Bob is pwnt.

Scenario 2-B:
Silent Bob creates a Shadow Clone to block the attack.
Since SB's defense is 70 and Shadow Clones have the same stats as their creator, Silent Bob's Shadow clone is able to block the attack, but is destroyed in the process.

Scenario 3-A:
Silent Bob tries to dodge.
Because Jay's SPD is 30 points higher than Silent Bob's, the attack hits, because he cannot dodge.

Scenario 3-B:
Silent Bob makes a Shadow Clone to throw him out of the way.
This temporarily adds Silent Bob's STR to his SPD while he's dodging, making it 110, much higher than Jay's 80. The Shadow Clone is destroyed.
