 The black-clouded male closed the door softly behind him, shaking his head at his grandfather. He told them it wouldn't be worth it to go 'visit Grandpappy Nassor', he knew that he'd only be sleeping. Old geezer.
Damis sighed, slowly moving across the grass. He remembered when he was nothing more than a little kit frolicking in this same grass, before moving with his mother to the Mountain. His tongue swiped over his fangs, pondering whether he should go hunt now or wait until he was back at the Mountain.

Hyuuhyuu hum. Goodness he was bored. Flaxen hair swished every which way as Fai glanced through his surroundings. He had a good general idea of where he was, but apparently it wasn't enough information. Now where did Rune-chan say she lived? Near the Realm HQ, yes, but that could be anywhere! The lanky male sighed dramatically as he walked on, a happy trot to his step. Maybe he should have brought Kurowan along? But he looked so peaceful sleeping earlier, and that was rare. Besides, he left the other a note....that is if he could read his writing since it involved kitsu paws. Dx
Chewing lightly on his lip, the mage paused in his explorings. Where to go now? Should he just fly back to Mountain HQ?

Damis peered up, watching the blonde beauty. Mmm, that hair looked nice. Blonde, smooth, silky...yeah he'd like t- NO. Damn it boy stop that. Committed man! Committed. He had a wonderful gal and his kids were all grown-up, it wouldn't do him any good to go back to his playboy ways.
No matter how tempting that blonde angel was.
But he could always do to flirt...Rune wouldn't mind that much. He was looking a little lost anyway. The dark male moved swiftly across the lawn, hints of his playboy past appearing in his walk. "Lost?"

Ears swivelled back as another voice made itself known. Oh, there was another kitsu nearby? Flitting on his famous smile, Fai canted his head in the other's direction. "Me? Lost? Hmmmm, well I guess I am." The male turned over and tiptoed over to the anthro. "Ohhh, you can walk on two legs? What a talent!" Blue tails swished at the friendly encounter as Fai adjusted his slim wings. My my, such interesting characters to meet in kitsu world. And with his own flirty and bubbly nature, Fai kept oblivious to the other's tone.

Oh yes pretty boy. Damis smiled, a lustful twinkle in his eye as swiped his tongue over his fangs. "Ah, I suppose it's a talent, more a gift from the Mountain. One I enjoy very much. But your beauty is much more appreciable, such dark clothes don't fit a sparkling face like yours." Inside he smiled, he still had it.
The darker bowed a bit, fully taking on his flirtatious ways. "By the way, I am Damis. Could I inquire you of your name calling?"

"A gift?" Fai blinked to that odd statement, wondering how something like that was gifted. And he blinked again as the anthro continued, face pinking lightly as he pulled back with a silly laugh. "Nyah~ You flatter me so, Mr. Damis." Now that was something new for the pale kitsu's ears. Fai tipped his head with a small wave of his paw as he introduced himself. "Why certainly. I go by Fai." His face beamed as he walked a small circle with tails flicking energetically. That twinkle hadn't been missed, and Fai decided to keep a friendly distance while still keeping conversation. "Hmm, Mountain you said? Isn't that some distance from here though?"

Fai...so simple a name. He liked it. He always did like ones who had one syllable names now that he thought about it. He smirked, righting himself. "Indeed. It is far although my mother urged me to come visit my grandfather. I was born here though, but moved to the Mountain with my mother. This place isn't as big as my memory recalls."
Rune was in the Mountain...and his children. The Mountain gift...something first bestowed upon his mother and father, then unto him and his lover. He didn't understand how he was picked to earn this gift but how he enjoyed feeling tall. "You're adorable when you blush, Fai."

The winged male sat back on his haunches as he watched the other adjust. It was so humanoid that Fai was in awe, almost wishing his limbs would act that way too. How he missed walking on two legs. "Ahh, you have family out here? That's so cute!" Imagine, little kittens running about! Well, not kittens since he had said grandpa though.
Fai giggled and waved his paw in a careless manner. "Really now? I would never have guessed." What with how pale he was, any tint was easily noticable. Just imagine sunburns! Single blue eye turned to Damis in amusement. "Such a gentleman we have here! I'm sure you're lucky with the ladies, ne?"

Damis chuckled, this Fai had to be the most adorable male he had ever encountered. "Well, they're not exactly kits anymore. Though the youngest of my family resides here." It was miracle he could keep up with who was older or younger than who. He blamed his grandfather. Eight children. Eight! Though...he supposed it was something in his family's blood to have large litters...more than once.
The clouded kit chuckled again. "Well my dear, I promise you that's I'm not just lucky with the ladies but the men I can catch...I usually do." He thought back to his infamous closet and the...'good' times he's had in there.

"Ohhh, they grow so fast it seems." Honestly, Fai wouldn't know. He didn't grow up with or near other children. And the only two he had known were Syaoran and Sakura. They had grown before his eyes, and now they were gone. Lost somewhere. Even if his ears twitched sadly to that fact, Fai kept his smile plastered on. It was all he could do.
"My my! A promise is it?" Fai 'hyuued' and clapped his hands. So this Damis fellow swung both ways? The first for Fai to meet. White-tipped tails weaved playfully to this surprise encounter. "You certainly are lucky then..." Ah, that famous L word. Not something Fai was blessed with, as his missing eye was a reminder to that. So it was nice to see others blessed with 'luck' any chance possible.

Damis moved closer the the blonde, twisting a finger in the other's hair. It was so nice to touch, he could play with Fai's hair for a long time. "It's a promise only if you want it to be." He placed a small short kiss upon the other's clothed forehead. He continued to play with the other's hair for a bit, memorizing the feel in his fingers. They slowly let go, instead trailing over the black cloth upon the other's head. "May I ask...what happened?"

What was this? Fai stiffened as Damis drew nearer, feeling short with how the other kitsu could stand. And with his hair being played with, Fai felt his tongue tie and his ears fall limp. It was a nice sensation, true, but one he shouldn't be involved with. The male was forced to make a response, babbling as his senses were recovering. "Hyuuu, I must decline such kind offers."
Fai tilted his head with a surprised expression. How he loved to play dumb. He smiled despite his blushing face. "Eh? Nothing has happened. Damis is just being silly~" Was his mask failing him? Impossible. And he smiled wider just to prove that point.

Damis frowned for a short bit, pulling back. Ah...the other was a fox. Hiding. Perhaps even...hurting? It was not his place to go that far...not yet. The lay down, laying his head upon the other's tails, hands immediately petting the warm coat. Soft indeed.
"I don't believe that you were born without an eye. Will you tell me why one of your soul's windows is gone? Was it natural? Diseased? Injured? Taken? Please tell me little angel."

Fox may have been the perfect word. Playful yet oh so tricky. It was just too natural now to pull away from. And so that was who he is. Be it painful or not.
Ears flitted up as Damis shuffled about, Fai giving a small chuckle as the other rested on his blue tails. What a persistent male, he'd give him credit for that. And as far as he was concerned, this was nothing more than a simple game to play along in. No harm in that. "So interested in my eye now, are we? I guess it's just a souvenir for my mistakes then." In other words, it was taken. But he had known it would be, and had hoped it would be a worthy trade. But like he mentioned before, he was never lucky. Let alone an angel of any form.

Damis made a small hmm into the other's tails. They were so soft. The best pillow he's had for awhile. He missed Rune. Unfortunately, unlike his daughter, he could never really figure out how to purr properly. If he could, he most definitely would.
He lifted his hand, resting it near the base of the other's wing before slowly trailing it back down to his side. A twang in his head told him he could not put it off for much longer. With a frown he sat up, an annoyed look on his face. He didn't want to except the small bit that the other gave me but he supposed he had to choice. If he went too far he might loose his chance to continue at least being friends with this soft kitsu. "Forgive me Fai but I must leave you for a bit. My bloodlust is calling." He turned toward his companion, his fangs had completely grown out showing his hunger.
