Hmm, I'm not that big of a fan for spin off movies. Thy tend to trail off away from the point of where they came from.

yeah, I agree. They should've stuck to the anime/manga better. Those had better storylines. Although, if they do this next movie correctly, it could be interesting....

I saw it. I loved it.
-It did stray from the point. -Misa made a short appearance. -Ryuk made a short appearance. -It's about a strain of a virus. -L introduced Near at the end of the movie suggesting a fourth. -L had his cute moments -L had his funny moments -L had his heroic moments -L had his dramatic moments -L had his epic moments -It gives you that "Ohh... So that's what happened" feeling when L gave Near his toy robot as he was dropped off at school the day before L dies. -L tried standing up straight.
