Yeah, so I didn't see a thread for these books yet and thought I should start one. I love both Meggy and Mo (they're the best) and Dustfinger is awesome. The end of Inkspell is really sad though! The next book is going to be extremely interesting though.... Care to comment?

I've read only Ink Heart, and still don't have time to work out Ink Blood... I like Basta and this fire charmer (I don't know how he is called in english translation)...

He's Dustfinger. He's one of my favorites too.

wahmbulance Spoilers! wahmbulance

The plot for Inkheart/Inkspell is very interesting. I personally like Inkspell better.

Supposedly Inkdeath comes out this year. I'm a bit interested to see what's going to happen with Dustfinger and Farid. They are both one of my favorite characters.

I was so mad when I got towards the end of Inkspell and Farid died (I believe he did...? It's been a while) and then Dustfinger kind of 'switched places' with him. I actually threw the book on the ground (I've never gotten that mad at a book before.) lol

The Inkheart movie comes out, in the USA, in a couple of months! I'm a bit worried that it's going to be like Eragon (I've never read the book but I heard the movie was horrible compared to the book) or Series of Unfortunate Events. But, even though I'm a bit reluctant to go see it, my friends are taking me with them.

@ Collote: PLEASE add a spoiler warning! There are people who haven't read the end of Inkspell yet!

Hmm I haven't read those books. But what I do remember the books were and interesting Plot.

SPOILER!!! KIND OF.

But i mean like reading a story and it coming to life with your words I thought was pretty awesome. Inkheart got on my nerves on how slow it went along, but I finished it cause I heard Inkspell was much better. Inkspell has much more action and that kind of stuff and I thought it was much better.

I read about half of Inkheart and for some reason of which I do not remember I stopped. It was good though! I liked the setting because it was like no other I had read about. Besides I think it took place in Italy or something like that and Italy is cool. (Excuse me if that's not where the setting is! It's been a while since I picked up the book....)

It's about a guy named Mo who can read chracters out of books but for every character that somes out, something else must replace it. One night he reads this evil guy, Capricorn, out along with his minion, Basta, and a fire - eater, Dustfinger. His wife goes into teh book. Megggie's the daughter. Years pass and Mo and Meggie get cought. Meggie finds out she can read like her dad. That's only Inkheart.

@Mother Eve: Your quote contains a spoiler (it's obvious, but nevertheless) so I'm going to have to ask you to put a warning. Thank you!

Oh, wow. I didn't even know that that was a spoiler, lulz. I'll check it out, though, nevertheless. Sounds interesting.

@Mother Eve: If you're wondering why part of your post is in white, it is because it contained a spoiler (see post above) and you weren't fast enough to edit it, so I did it for you. I understand if you don't check Gaia that often, but next time try to be more conscious of your posts.

@irock708: And yes, it was a spoiler, it was just really obvious. It sort of ruins the book a little bit if you know it, even though you know it's coming....
