Your topic named: The War Against $cientology - Project Chanology

This topic had been removed from the General Discussion forum.

Additional notes:
Your topic has been removed for the following reasons:

- Encouraging the hatred of/stalking of.harrassment of Gaia users/real life people based on their creed/religion

- Implying that Gaia supports your decision to do so.

Continued encouragement of harassment, or harrassment on your own part of users may lead to a ban of your account. Continued attempts to speak as a representative of Gaia may also lead to a ban of your account.

I am afraid that you not only have misunderstood the topic in question, but you have also admitted that you and the rest of Gaia moderators do not feel the need to protect free speech and the freedom of expression.

I am very disappointed with Gaia and this decision. If you had read the thread appropriately, even the first few paragraphs, you would have known that it had nothing to do with the spread of hate, nor did it have to do with the violation of basic human rights, including the right to freedom of speech. It was critical of the dangerous part of Scientology, not their beliefs. As I had repeatedly told people: This is not a thread about the violation of Scientological beliefs, it is an educational thread dedicated to the exposure of the deeper more sinister workings of the Church of Scientology. Many of the people that support these decision are ex-Scientologists themselves, and many are human-rights activists.

The purpose of the thread was to educate people on the dangers of the inner-workings of Scientology, the repeated violations of the freedoms of its own followers and those that are critical towards the 'religion', and to help gain support for those people who are critical towards this cause.

In fact, as a matter of curiosity, I wish for you to specifically point out where in my entire post I have garnered support for a so-called 'hate-campaign'. Not only that, but to delete a thread prior to the knowledge of the thread maker before he or she is able to explain his or herself is in direct violation to the right of freedom of expression by the said individual. You deleted on the premise of their religion.

No, and I will repeat this because for some reason it escapes people's concept. This has nothing to do with their beliefs. If you wish to not be involved in preventing repeat deaths, repeated human violations, then that is your perogative, but I cannot stand aside and let such a thing happen. Would you delete a thread that organized a rally to preserve the freedom of people's rights? Because, good sirs, that is exactly what you have just done.

As to implying that I represent Gaia: I have not once said that I represented your people nor said that I had your permission. To do so would put the entire website of Gaia under serious threat from the Church of Scientology as they would use any means necessary to make sure that any and all negative information would cease. They would suppress any form of criticism to their Church, including a lawsuit on the premise of your first point (Spreading hatred...). This is a common occurance, and one of the main reasons why we are taking a stand.

Such an action is in direct violation to the First Amendment. The same Amendment they claim to protect. Why not call them for yourself and ask them about Lisa McPherson? How about Heribert Pfaff? Mention Quentin Hubbard, L Ron's own son. Ask them what really happened to these people. These are only a few of the people paid with their lives in beliving in this religion and it is these people who were vulnerable to the Church.

Do you know why these people were vulnerable? Do you know why these people were so easily tricked and misguided? Because they did not know. They had none of the facts. They had none of the resources. They were brainwashed, and tricked, and milked for almost every penny they had on them. By the time they died, each of these people had paid substantial amounts into the Church, and it is this that we are trying to tell people to be careful for.

In summary:

1) Not against the religious beliefs, but against the money-laundering criminal-like workings hidden behind the facade of a religion.

2) I did not represent your company, and never intended to for your own protection.

And this is why Anonymous have to make use of their talkers. Well written.

We're not protesting the beliefs of Scientology. They can believe whatever the hell they want. As I've said numerous times before: they can believe that one day a unicorn took a dump and that feces was molded by a bunch of woodland gnomes into us. I really don't care. What I care about is that they are nothing more than a criminal organization who plays themselves off as a religion.

For example, I have no problem at all with the offshoot of the "Church" that practices the beliefs of Scientology without the criminal aspects. They are happily and peacefully practicing their religion and I am happy for them.

Gaia doesn't need to say they support us, hell, as you said, that could very well put them in danger. However, they do need to respect our right to protest the wrongs committed by the "Church" of Scientology.

I doubt it, I think Gaia was just trying to enforce their ToS.

It is a common misconception.

Guys, you must read the thread I am posting in (on the first page at the very top). I have just spanked every single argument without sauce. Now just imagine how badly I would pwn them if I started citing resources there.

Then i would think that they are against us bringing in the truth about the cult.

I didn't think about that...

Since they have opened employment in MOD and ADMIN positions, we can only assume that $cientologists are in the highest positions of the gaian high command.
