So, I had a thought the other day while I was reading, and it went something like "I wonder what theme songs for the knights would be like?" After thinking on it for several days, I couldn't think of anything. (I suppose that happens when all your music is made up almost entirely of Disney songs and the Dirty Dancing soundtrack, and you're trying to give theme songs to knights.) I have decided to make a topic here in our little guild about it.
I've decided to record our progress so far. The name is not final, and suggestions will be much appreciated.
The Knightly Soundtrack
The Round Table - "If Everyone Cared" Nickelback Sir Mordred - "I'm So Sick" Flyleaf Sir Galahad - "Silver Dagger" Joan Baez/Bob Dylan Sir Agravaine - "Riot" Three Days Grace
Other Character's Morgaine le Fey - "Mordred's Lullaby" Heather Dale

Wow. That's a tough one. Really tough. Naturally, I'm going for Sir Mordred's theme first. I'm not sure about you, but I think "I'm So Sick" by Flyleaf fits him well. At least, the Mordred I portray.
Any songs for party boy Galahad? (Sorry... I had to say it...)

Facilis descensus averni. There is no song for party boy Galahad because he does not exist, and didn't we agree not to mention him again?
However, for Sir Galahad, I can only find a "love" theme. (Isn't that an oxymoron.) A combination of "Silver Dagger" by Joan Baez and whoever sang the male version would really fit Galahad. The decent to Hell is easy.

I know, I know. I just couldn't resist. Don't hate me.
I've never heard that song before. I'll have to give it a listen. I think "Riot" by Three Days Grace would be a good song for Sir Agravaine. It just fits him.

It can be a difficult song to find sometimes, but I think I have it on my profile somewhere. The male version, at least. I haven't been able to find the version by Joan Baez in a long time.
I think "Mordred's Lullaby" by Heather Dale would be a good song for Morgan. Not a knight, but I didn't have another one to offer.

I love that song! It's my favorite ever! I could listen to it all day. (Sorry - had to get that out.)
I think "If Everyone Cared" by Nickelback is a good song for the knights in general. I think it's one of those songs that fits because it's sort of the opposite of what actually happens.

I know. It's a lovely song.
I'd never listened to it, but that's really a good song for the knights. I like it. On a side note: It might not actually be, but this sounds like a postmillenialist song.

"Night of Infamy" by Falconer reminds me of Gawain. Not really as a theme, but it made me think of when his brothers were killed and he decided he was going to kill Lancelot.
I'm really bad at picking theme songs.

I heard a song a while back that reminded me of Mordred, or at least the Mordred I tend to picture. "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse. Just thought I'd throw that one out there.
I do sort of feel like I'm talking to myself now, though.
