To the west: the ocean.
To the East: Leaf.
To the North: Rain.
In the center is Sand.
(Through this area you can reach Leaf, The Western Shore, or Rain)

A lone figure strode through the desert, dressed in black. A short shockof white hair fell down just past his ears, though his eyes were a telltale yellow. "My, my... this heat is so refreshing... s**t, it feels good. Now, where was it..."

He arrived in what looked like a massive bowl, large dunes rising over the sides. It was clear that some kind of massive battle had occurred here. "So many years... Let's see if I can still call it." He held his hand out, pointing across the wide crater. "Eikai! Answer, your master calls!"
There were several moments of echoing silence, and his eyes narrowed. "My name is Amano Mitsude, the true wielder of the Ley Blade Eikai, the Blade of Eternal Suffering. I command you to answer me!"
Roughly fifty feet away, the sand burst upward, a shimmering black katana rushing forward to hover by his side. "Better."
He gripped the hilt, smiling at the electric jolt that ran through his body. "Oh, yes... Nothing quite beats holding my old sword. Now..." He smirked, heading towards the village. "I'm famished. Time to stop for lunch."

Shisen appeared inside the desert after about a week or two of training. He yawned and looked around, seeing nothing but endless sand under a white sun. "Bah...." He left for the village.

Shisen was already running through the desert, trying to think of where the puppet would be hiding. Where? Where the hell was there to hide besides behind some rocks or under the sand? With a sigh, he unrolled a scroll and with a bang of smoke, Karasu appeared behind him.

Mina glared around at the desert. She removed the cork from her gourd, letting a small amount of sand form an eye. "Search." The eye flew off and away, and she continued to look around.

Aoi burst out of the sand approximately 50 meters to the west of the three, taking off in a northern direction.

Shisen could hear acutely the sound of puppet parts moving out of the sand and instantly shot off towards the puppet.

He caught up with the puppet, dealing blows to it with Karasu and sending it into the sand with a crushing blow.

Aoi's chest cavity opened, revealing the scroll, and the puppet disappeared with a puff of smoke, leaving it behind.
