If you compensate not eating meat, with beans and other things, then yes being a vegetarian is healthy.
My sister has been an vegatarian for three or four years. She saw some pigs in a truck which were going to be slaughtered.
I'm not vegetarian, I haven't seen the truck, like beef and chicken. I do like animals, but even after I've seen a chicken got slaughtered I can still eat. In nature animals eat other animals. I'm not eating as much meat as before. And I really love vegatarian food.
My sis has bought a book full of vegetarian recipes.. I will try to translate one later

and thank you very much(:

Yeah I'm against fur, I've seen that video too, all the way though. I thought it was sick. I'd think it's better to kill it at once, so it isn't at pain.
You're welcome ^^

I'm a vegetarian too. I think it's healthy, because people who eat meat are more likely to get heart disease. Also drinking soy milk is healtheir than drinking regular milk because it has more proteins.
Even thoguh I'm not Vegan, I don't drink milk either. soy milk all the way...it tastes better too. ^^

AT SCHOOL THEY NEED TO STOP SENDING YOU MIXED MESSAGES.
My Life Skills teacher in 8th grade told me it was healthier to not eat meat, or to eat very little of it. My Health teacher last year said the same thing, showed us all kinds of different ways we could get protein, and showed us videos that almost made me go vegetarian by themselves. Then this year, my Biology teacher said that it wasn't at all healthy. Not only that, she said that humans would survive longer eating all meat and no vegetables than vice versa.
That makes me angry. D<
I think that eating meat is perfectly fine, but most people eat too much meat. Look at the food pyramid. We're supposed to have more grain, fruits, vegetables, etc. But a lot of people have more meat than anything else on their dinner plate. They'll also have some meat with lunch. Maybe even breakfast. Shoving too much cholesterol into your diet.
But I think that if you compensate for not eating all the things you aren't eating, then it's perfectly healthy.
And as far as fur goes, I'll wear fur, but I won't buy it. I have a fur little jacket thing that was my grandmothers, and I wear it. If I didn't wear it, it would be going to waste. It would have died for that much less of a reason. I don't think that there's anything wrong with wearing antique fur or anything. But I'm against animals being killed for their fur now, in the present. And the more people buy it in the stores, the more animals will be killed for it.
