Karen leaned against the wall of one of the buildings near an alley. This was boring. Where in the hell was her brother?

"Aniki!" Karen yelled happily, spotting her older brother. Smiling happily she ran up to him and jumped on his back. "You were ignoring me. Why?"

A stranger appears, seeming to come from the hospital. His face is obscured by large burns, veiled thinly by a ridiculously floppy hat. He looks around briefly, then places the letter "C" in a very conspicuous place before leaving in the general direction of the Village Gate.
